Yes it is a lot easier than you think. Not eveb basic maths. I just follow what the calculater tells me or what someones recipe says. It is that easy. Cheaper yes. A lot cheaper than gourmet liquids and still cheaper than cheap e liquids. Golden rule. Have fun and use your imagination. Sent from me from some far away land. Thanks for that! To put the price into comparison then, if a gourmet 30ml bottle is say, £15, how much would a DIY equivalent for the same measure be?

Evening all!
Ok, so, I'm starting to realise I'm spending more on liquids now than I ever did with tobacco. Mostly because I keep seeing this and that shiney new tasty sounding liquid, and keep ordering it in. Aside from the strain on the wallet, the missus also doesn't quite understand my obsession with my hunt for the ADV, or even more simply my urge to experiment with absolutely everything I can.
Now, I've tried some other peoples homebrew'd mixes and they've turned out absolutely lovely. I remember someone gave me a T-Juice High Voltage DIY-mix, and then buying the actual thing from the company - and I found I preferred the DIY more. Not sure why, possibly the ratio used.
But I'm a bit nervous about learning to mix myself so, if you'd entertain me, I've got a couple of questions!
Bottom line, is it cheaper? After buying the bottles, the base Nic, the PG/VG and flavourings (as well as any other tools used), how much would you save as opposed to buying a premixed "gourmet" liquid?
How simple is it? If I'm understanding it correctly, it's just basic math and filling a bottle. Hardly Die Hard 3 elephant park stuff.
What are the golden rules to DIY mixing? What are the key things to watch out for?
Appreciate the help!
Edit: Also, I apologies kindly board elves if I posted this in the wrong place!

Not sure how a pre-paid card protects you online, considering debit and credit cards both come with chargeback rights through Visa and comprehensive fraud processes to get your money back should your details be stolen!

Yeah, I've got some RY-C4ramel coming to me from Health-E-Vape to give a try as I was highly recommended it by a friend, but I really prefer the fruity flavours.
I think I need to find the right balance though. More VG than PG because otherwise I'm going to choke myself out ):

I've generally avoided Tobacco flavours, but I'm open to anything at this point so I'll keep an eye out for that one then. I think a local to me shop as it in stock actually, as they've got a load of Hangsen liqs.

I've tried, and still have, some of the Hangsen liquids at home - but they left a really foul, chemically after taste for me, so I was really put off of them.
And yeah, I do need an ADV. Closest I've come is High Voltage by T-Juice, but 80/20 was a bit too harsh after a while.

It's ridiculous though! I need to start making my own. I'm trying to convince myself that that'll be the cheaper option, but then, I'll be buying so many different flavourants that all my money would go on that instead.
Seeing as I've only been doing this for three months now, maybe it's just the honeymoon phase and I need to get this out of my system now...

Hi everyone,
My name is Rivu, and I am an eLiquid buying addict ):
As of right now, it's been 20mins since my last purchase. I didn't need to buy anymore, as I've got about 120ml of assorted liquids at home, and another 180ml of liquids which should be turning up today/tomorrow.
I couldn't help myself though! I popped along to Vapelabs around the corner from work and thought "You know what, lets try some of this..." and walked away with a bottle of Rise by Ruthless that was absolutely divine.
I want to stop buying, but I can't! I want to try every single flavour, of everything, on all mixes, all the time!
Smoking was so much easier than this. I fear I'm going to bankrupt myself by buying too many liquids.
Oh tragedy!

So long as I get to hum whimsicle ditties from the '50's that I've never heard but am somehow channeling through the spirit of a failed TV advert jingle composer - sure!
Or, something. Maybe just the tea actually. But remind me which hand to hold it in before I pick up the cup, or believe me, I'll be there for days.
And sleedale, thank you for trying to justify my wrongdoing this entire time!

Two days I've been trying to get this undone. Two days.
I've just realised, up until now, my entire life, I've opened jars/bottles/etc left handedly whilst being right handed.

Oh for f-.
So, here's the thing. I don't know how I did it, but I'd forgotten I was right handed.
Swapped hands and it immediately undid.
Kill me now, life is over, I can't even remember my dexterity.

I was worried that I was overtightening it to begin with, and made sure that I didn't screw it down too much.
Still stuck. Mother f-.

Ok, so, I'm going a bit spare here. My clearo of choice is the Nautilus, and I've been having a turbid on-off love affair with it for a while now. It's all boiling down to one thing. I can't get the blighter to unscrew. I've tried everything. I've tried rubber for grip. I've tried putting it in the freezer. I've tried heating it up to see if the "metal" will expand (did not, failed). It's driving me nuts. I dread using it because when it runs out, I know I'm going to have the arduous task of trying to disassemble this blighter. Does anyone have any tips/tricks to getting this to unscrew? Would using a metal, rather than glass tank solve this problem?
