Hello, I've only just received my Vamo v5 and it doesn't work, when I put a battery in the shell it recognised that it was in their and the vamo logo would turn on, I would press the button five times and it will turn on, I can scroll through the menu when it is turned on but when I press the firing button it just flashes to another screen and turns off, please help me I have no idea what the problem is. The tank I am using is a I clear 30s and the battery's are ultrafire 18650 5600 mah 3.7v The atomiser is around 2.2 omes Hi Danny, there is no 18650 battery that can give you 5600mah, The best that I know of are Panasonics which give a genuine 3400mah. Ultrafire are awful batteries, they are cheap, but really crap batteries. Try and get a better battery and retest the Vamo  As a general rule, most forum members here would avoid any battery with the word FIRE in them, not because of the word "FIRE" but because most of them have been tested and found to be wanting. Just thought I'd let you guys know that I've just a imr battery in my mod and it works like a gem, don't know what I would of done without your advise, thanks again |

 danny aside from your batteries... It would seem your your vamo has issues! As you said it's new I'd return it to vendor (as I did!) If the're not responding try other means of contact- tel/email/pm them if they're on this forum? A post on their facebook page works wonders... Who did you buy it from? The flashing and it turning off is due to there not being enough power in the battery so its shutting down just like when the battery drops below 3.2V. Its clearly a fake battery as you cant get 5600 mah batteries, even trustfire themselves don't make a 5600mah battery. So if trustfire didn't make it who did? Some guy in china sitting in a shed a packaging 60mah pellet batteries into 18650 cases more than likely.
Argh I see why the battery doesn't work now |

I bought it off this page on eBay which took me to an online e cig store, I've managed to reach them now and it has been sorted |

Welcome to you danny. It's not a problem I've experienced . . . maybe it doesn't like the batteries you are using at a guess? The more techy members will advise you there. Have you been in contact with your Vendor, if you've just recently bought it. I've have contacted the vendor but they have not replied, since you have experienced this problem which batteries would you recommend with the product? |
