Thank you very much for mentioning that advice GregSome of my iclear atties havent been making a connection lately no matter what I try, I'll look out for this in the future Yeh its a good bit of kit, that shouldn't give you any problems.
Just don't over tighten the clearo's on it. screw them on till you make a contact then twist the beauty ring up to met the clearo. This will get rid of any 'wobble' that you may have from not tightening down the clearo hard onto the mod, and will prevent the centre pin from being pushed down.
Again, great advice. I know my Dad mentioned this to me, but I normally just screwed my tanks down tight until they stopped moving. Looks like I'll have to change my ways now that I've fixed the pin

Am i the only one who uses an mvp2 in VV mode. VV/VW explained by this quiet chappy. Haha, RiP Trippers, the guy with a million seperate frames in every video I just enjoy the ease of use when using VW, means I can just stick it on my preferred wattage and forget about it until it needs some charge, then its just the same thing. I might actually prefer VV, but I've never used it to find out much about it

Any tips? Any glitches I should watch out for? What set up do you use? Best power setting? I've been vaping and loving it for 11 days! Only tips I really have after having an MVP for a while now is just what other people have said; stick your juice in your preferred tank, stick it on your MVP and use Variable Wattage (I dont think I've ever used Variable Voltage, too much of a clart on having to change it according to your battery level). Id say stick it on Variable Wattage and start at 8w, then work your way up in 0.5w intervals, until you find your sweet spot. Like other people say, theres not really a recommended power level, the best one will be the one that works for YOU. I used to vape at 7.5watts on my iclear products for a cooler vape, and at 8.5watts on my nautilus because the taste seemed better at this point. However, that was all just trial and error, and you will end up getting some dry and burnt hits every now and again when youre trying to find your preferred power output. As for glitches, I havent noticed any, except for tightening down your atties too tight will force the connection down and will make the attie show up as 'NON' when connected, but gregb has already touched on that. Like I previously stated, I mainly run my iclears at between 7-8watts, and I used to run my nautilus at 8.5w. However, now that I have the new and improved BVC heads, I can vape anywhere from 6watts to 11watts, depending on my juice, my preferred airflow, and how warm or cool I want my vape to be. So to recap, the best thing to do is to just keep trying until you find your sweet spot. Of course, people will be able to recommend a power level for your attie, but the best thing to do is to just take that advice onboard as a rough guideline, then test it out yourself with lowering and upping the power level until, you guessed it, you hit that sweet spot. Any more questions just ask

Great bit of kit kitty778 and fantastic battery life. Set it in variable wattage mode then it doesn't matter which atty you use with it. The main known niggle is tightening atties too hard can cause the positive pin to stick down so some atties don't make a connection and you have to gently prise the pin back up. If you use an atty with a 510 connector use the beauty ring as this may assists in preventing the above pin issues. There isn't a best power setting, just start low at say 6.5 watts and work your way up slowly in 0.5 watt increments until your satisfied with the vape, if you start to get a burnt taste turn it back down. Enjoy Thank you very much for mentioning that advice GregSome of my iclear atties havent been making a connection lately no matter what I try, I'll look out for this in the future

My nautilus mini arrived today forom vape escape great service will defiantly be using them again. Ordered naut mini pack of coils and 5 grizwalds samplers. Caramel espresso , arctic cherry, black jack, whisky cream, atomic fusion. The mini looks sooooo tiny next to my original nautilus. I have got it on my smok magneto with a efest18350 battery as it looked daft using the Sony 18650 vtc5. Popping away like a bowl of rice crisipes with caramel espresso flavour in. Absolutely brilliant bit of kit still trying to work out if I like coffee eliquid lol this my first dabble with a coffee flavour. The others smell great. Good to hear you're enjoying it! I was actually looking at the Grizwalds eldiquids not too long ago, still need to give them a try

The unfortunate thing was that I wasn't even looking down the drip tip, the damn crazy thing just rocketed out and became some type of terrifying liquids homing missile! Enough to give anyone nightmares

Heyas I think your right re higher pg juices, I normally vape/make 50/50 juice or 40 pg/60vg and have never found this happen my naut run out about 15 mins ago (using an MVP v2 as well) so I dumped a homemade juice from my brother in law I had from ages bk that was 100% pg to test your theory ( juice was totally rank BTW) coconut and mint anyhow it spit like a cobra on Max power. Very unpleasant for every toot I took I ended up with juice coming up the tip.I also noticed a small amount actually leaked into the airflow chamber when I cleaned it out, I reckon if I had left it I'd be getting gurgling as well as spitting. Emptied it out down sink washed and now have fluid-minted mix on the go mix yum yum Thank you very much for clearing that up. My preferred mix is 30/70 PG/VG, but I've only ever tried that with my premium e liquids and the rest of my liquids are 80/20 PG/VG. Bit of a bummer seeming as I have a good 18 bottles of it steeping at the minute oh well, guess I'll just use them either on a lower power, or just vape them on my iclear tanks, never came across this problem until today. All the juices I have on order at the minute (expecting them to be delivered today) are 30/70 and a few 50/50 mixes aswell

Hey guys, so as anybody that has read my review will know, yesterday my Aspire BVC heads arrived in the post. I was so stoked for them and they blew all my expectations out of the water with just how good they actually were. However, one problem I am having, is that when I press the power button (on my MVP to fire it), it seems to sometimes make one big popping sound, then sound normal. I thought this wasn't a biggy, and it did sound pretty cool (POWERRRRRR!!!), but then I started noticing that when it pops, it also shoots a little bit of liquid (maybe a drop or so) out of the drip tip. I didn't even notice this until I got a weird taste in my mouth, then left it for a while, came back to it, and the damned thing shot e liquid straight into my eye! (Ouchy!) So I'm just wondering if this is a common problem with tanks in general? Or there's maybe some way to fix it? Somebody on another forum that was having this trouble with Kanger tanks suggested that it was because he was using a liquid that was high PG. May this be it? The liquid that did it is 80/20 PG/VG. I do have to admit that I didn't notice it happening earlier when I was using Snake Oil e liquid, which has more VG in it. Any help would be greatly appreciated, from me AND my poor eye!

Good stuff! I'm sure you'll end up loving your MVP!! Just don't fall into the trap of buying 917252 driptips, that stuff is dangerous for your bank balance! Erm... four new drip tips arrived today and I, erm, might be expecting another seven this week... DON'T DO IT!

My flatmate and I each celebrate our birthdays later this month (the wrong side of 35!) and we have been talking lately about vaping. I've decided to take the plunge and buy us both our first vaping devices! I've been reading a lot about it, and have narrowed it down to the following summary (with apologies for any terminology mistakes): Tank: Probably Kanger aerotank or another with the airflow tech? Not very clear of the difference between all the aerotank models, but I suspect my flatmate and I might prefer different types, so any thoughts would be welcome. Definitely clearomizer. Battery: Variable, not sure about power requirements, would be handy - not essential - to vape whilst charging I'm more of a easy life sort of person, while he would probably enjoy getting wildly into tinkering, if that helps narrow it down any? For now, I am only interested in cylindrical styles, though I can see there is a lot of love for the box style. I would prefer a medium sized tank, but my flatmate might prefer a larger tank style. It would also be handy to try out each other's kit with little fuss, so accessory compatibility would be helpful. I can't seem to find a starter kit which offers the above, so which accessories/other bits should I get and are they a MUST or a BENEFIT? Thanks for any replies! And as for wanting a medium sized device, the MVP also drops into this category. It may be a box mod, but its light, smallish and the battery lasts me 3 days at least and I'm quite a heavy paper (I'm expecting this to drop to maybe 2 days now that I can vape at 11 watts with these new coil heads. Here is a picture of mine to give you more of an idea Edit: I'd like to clear up that I am infact human, and not a 'heavy paper" like I said I meant to say "heavy vaper"

Now, for my first device, I chose to skip the ego's and went straight for an MVP V2. You can look around for reviews and theyre widely known and loved by many. It comes with Variable Voltage AND Variable Wattage functions, and there's not many things better for starting. As for clearos, I went with the Aspire Nautilus because of the rave reviews it got. Now that you can also buy the new BVC (Bottom Vertical Coil) heads separate, it just makes this tank even better, and I dont think theres anything that comes close to the taste at all, even RDA's (thats what other reviewers have said, not my own words). I just got my BVC coils today, and they're absolutely amazing! You can see my full take on them here: allaboute-cigarettes.proboards.com/thread/43176/aspire-nautilus-bvc-heads?page=1&scrollTo=752773Either way, as long as you're vaping, you're happy and you're off the stinkies, you can't really go wrong. Good luck for the future my friend!

Just a quick hello and to say that, from what I've seen so far, AAEC looks like a cracking place to help settle the whirlwind of e-cig/vaping information swirling around my noggin. Getting back into it again after a break. Chucked it in due to some lousy experiences with petrol station carto wheezers and a Fogger v1. Boy have things moved on rapidly since then! Anyway, again, hi to all and I look forward to contributing if I can, to the forum. Greetings and to AAEC beetle!
