Hey guys, so as anybody that has read my review will know, yesterday my Aspire BVC heads arrived in the post. I was so stoked for them and they blew all my expectations out of the water with just how good they actually were. However, one problem I am having, is that when I press the power button (on my MVP to fire it), it seems to sometimes make one big popping sound, then sound normal. I thought this wasn't a biggy, and it did sound pretty cool (POWERRRRRR!!!), but then I started noticing that when it pops, it also shoots a little bit of liquid (maybe a drop or so) out of the drip tip. I didn't even notice this until I got a weird taste in my mouth, then left it for a while, came back to it, and the damned thing shot e liquid straight into my eye! (Ouchy!) So I'm just wondering if this is a common problem with tanks in general? Or there's maybe some way to fix it? Somebody on another forum that was having this trouble with Kanger tanks suggested that it was because he was using a liquid that was high PG. May this be it? The liquid that did it is 80/20 PG/VG. I do have to admit that I didn't notice it happening earlier when I was using Snake Oil e liquid, which has more VG in it. Any help would be greatly appreciated, from me AND my poor eye!

Heyas I think your right re higher pg juices, I normally vape/make 50/50 juice or 40 pg/60vg and have never found this happen my naut run out about 15 mins ago (using an MVP v2 as well) so I dumped a homemade juice from my brother in law I had from ages bk that was 100% pg to test your theory ( juice was totally rank BTW) coconut and mint anyhow it spit like a cobra on Max power. Very unpleasant for every toot I took I ended up with juice coming up the tip.I also noticed a small amount actually leaked into the airflow chamber when I cleaned it out, I reckon if I had left it I'd be getting gurgling as well as spitting. Emptied it out down sink washed and now have fluid-minted mix on the go mix yum yum

My preferred mix is 30/70 PG/VG, but I've only ever tried that with my premium e liquids and the rest of my liquids are 80/20 PG/VG. Bit of a bummer seeming as I have a good 18 bottles of it steeping at the minute oh well, guess I'll just use them either on a lower power, or just vape them on my iclear tanks, never came across this problem until today. All the juices I have on order at the minute (expecting them to be delivered today) are 30/70 and a few 50/50 mixes aswell

I think its quite common for this to happen, the loud pop tends to happen when its been sitting for a while, so I put that down to the wire heating up fast when the wick is saturated. When using a dripper you can see how much it spits juice around, the inside of the vapour chamber tends to get covered in juice, so im not surprised the occasional drop ends up going through the mouthpiece. Don't think ive ever taken one in the eye though.

Just got my Nautilus Mini today with the new vertical coils. No problems so far, vaping around 15 W I must say these really are excellent, everything about them, the flavour the vapour, the pull... Happiest I've been in ages with a stock coil, and the Mini tanks is lovely...

You should try a Kanger Aerotank, if its not gurlging and spitting Its like an angry bowl of Rice Krispies. I think I've swallowed more than I've vaped but I just meddle around with the airflow and the voltages until it stops. I kind of like the crackling and popping sometimes though it makes me feel important

It happens with quite a few coils and can be a small hot spot or sudden burst. The trick is to ensure it's in the gob when pressing the fire button, rather than looking down it It's a bit like not looking down a hosepipe

I find a hissing and popping coil tends to give the best vape. As hijack said the wick can get super saturated, and my only concern with the vertical coil is the possibility of juice in the mouth. But it hasn't happened to me - yet. My Nautili, my aerotank, my protank and my Fogger all pop and hiss. Even an Evod2 pops for me. It's NORMAL. It's GOOD

I can also tell the coil gunking as when you release the fire button you can still hear it hissing away. Couple of times i thought the button was stuck. It's all good. Just don't look down the drip tip. Ruffie

The unfortunate thing was that I wasn't even looking down the drip tip, the damn crazy thing just rocketed out and became some type of terrifying liquids homing missile! Enough to give anyone nightmares

My nautilus mini arrived today forom vape escape great service will defiantly be using them again. Ordered naut mini pack of coils and 5 grizwalds samplers. Caramel espresso , arctic cherry, black jack, whisky cream, atomic fusion. The mini looks sooooo tiny next to my original nautilus. I have got it on my smok magneto with a efest18350 battery as it looked daft using the Sony 18650 vtc5. Popping away like a bowl of rice crisipes with caramel espresso flavour in. Absolutely brilliant bit of kit still trying to work out if I like coffee eliquid lol this my first dabble with a coffee flavour. The others smell great.
