I would have been too, if I could have collected the goose any earlier... as it was, I had to queue for 10 mins just to get that! If it's been forgotten and I can't buy it at the local co-op, we're going without it! Wonder if SWMBO will accept that as an excuse for her present |

I'm going to the big Tesco Extra tomorrow morning at 6:30. I'm guessing it'll take me a good 20 mins to find a parking space at that time, judging by previous years. I'll be getting all the veg and bread, then head to the meat counter for when it opens at 8am to pick up the goose, then head straight to the checkout and escape the madness as quickly as I can. All presents have been bought and the majority wrapped already, last 5 to do tomorrow, then chill out until Christmas Eve when I have to start all the prep. The last thing I want to do on Christmas Day morning is peel spuds, carrots and parsnips! All being well you might be home by lunch time  |

Got a delivery from Joose Juice today even although they had put the wrong number on it. Don't know how they got it wrong as it was done through paypal which has my right address, but luckily the postie recognised the name and made the effort to bring it back to my door even although he'd already been with my parcel from Dan here |
