I've put it off, and put it off. This has been the worst year for stress over what pressies to get the family. SO... tomorrow I'm going to have to go out and join the other lunatics. Anyone else in the same situation?
And where's 'It's A Wonderful Life' this year on the telly, that usually gets me going.

Yep all done and never set foot in a shop, inter web for the win I did get a couple of things from Amazon, delivered free in a couple of days... but have you seen today that a few supermarkets have had a few problems. Some customers got the reply... 'Apologies, we can deliver your Xmas dinner on the 27th'... or words to that effect.

I'm going to the big Tesco Extra tomorrow morning at 6:30. I'm guessing it'll take me a good 20 mins to find a parking space at that time, judging by previous years. I'll be getting all the veg and bread, then head to the meat counter for when it opens at 8am to pick up the goose, then head straight to the checkout and escape the madness as quickly as I can.
All presents have been bought and the majority wrapped already, last 5 to do tomorrow, then chill out until Christmas Eve when I have to start all the prep. The last thing I want to do on Christmas Day morning is peel spuds, carrots and parsnips!

Anyone else in the same situation?Yes. I blame too much time on the forum(s)... and generally lazing about. Still, I know what I need to buy. A cuddly bear, his and hers matching luggage, scented candles, under-garments and a fondue set should take me all of 1 hr 38 minutes.

I'm going to the big Tesco Extra tomorrow morning at 6:30. I've just been to a BIG Tescos.... it was scary. They've even put a green Christmas hat on the O of Tesco. I went to buy a telly and a magimix, but came back with 2 pies and usb charger for e-cigs.

For many years the wife (Joan) and I spent hours trailing round the toy shops & clothes shops for our kids gift and our grandkids toys. These past 3 years we send them "money", so that they can buy what "they" want. Everyone is happy as no duff pressies given, and all harmony within the family. Only down side, with new grandkids each year, my bank is emptied that much quicker. Just awaiting the mad rush with Joan (wife) to the sales which start on "Boxing Day" (hate been dragged around shops full of bargain hunters, who are semi ninja at these sales.) Must have a whiskey now to settle my nerves, just thinking about it. Better mix up some 24mg juice ready for that dreaded day. Happy holidays `peeps` end of rant from an olde git.
