Didn't the UK government way back favour entirely 'medicated' vaping legislation? Too late now though for such a possibility I would have thought. I cannot see any government paying for what people are now buying for themselves. A large number of people pay nothing for prescriptions. People on benefits/pensioners etc. Probably groups that contain a large number of smokers. Sure there a lot of people who get free prescriptions but what about those that don't? If they made ecigs prescription only then people who currently vape will have to go to the pharmacy to buy the device and probably the liquid or refill cartridge too on prescription. The government wouldn't be paying for these devices or liquid, the current prescription charge is £8.60 per item how much do you think the NHS will be paying for some cigalike or other disposable device? The prescription charge is £8.60 per item regardless of the cost of the item to the NHS. Well the NHS manage to pay £3.23 for paracetamol which can be bought for about 19p in supermarkets so the sky is probably the limit for what they will get charged for an e-cig. Very unlikely that £8.60 (& nothing from those on benfits) will come anywhere close to covering costs. Sorry just do not see this happening. www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/politics/nhs-70-million-paracetamol-last-year-figures-department-of-health-painkillers-prescriptions-a7819661.html

My one worry about this is if they make them prescription devices they will a few months down the road choose to classify ecigs as medical devices and possibly prescription only medical devices which will leave the public with only the government sanctioned options which will undoubtedly be deliberate crap supplied by the corporation with the deepest pockets and most connected lobbyists. Good news obviously but IIRC Hampshire SSS(along with Leicester SSS & Louise Ross) has been far more pro vaping than most other SSS for a few years now. I wonder if we will see such pro-vaping initiatives in other places. Lets hope so.

I may be prepared to part with a limited edition Xvostick. Do you have a price in mind?

When I started vaping there where no Vaping B&M. I have just carried on buying stuff online. Never even been in a vaping B&M.
NB actually when I started vaping I sometimes used to ring up Jason Cropper (totally wicked) and place an order IIRC.

Have a look at... GeekVape Zeus or as post 3 Kayfun. Got both, Kayfun more for MTL, Zeus more airy but still good flavour. Would not vouch for the Zeus for flavour simply because I don't seem to have a very good sense of taste, but I would vouch for its other qualities. First and for me overwhelmingly important it cannot leak even if you are as bad a coiling and wicking as I am. Top air inlets mean it just never leaks at all. It is a diddle to refill; wick and coil. It is of course single coil only which I regard as a plus others may not. It is 24-25mm? so will not fit all mods.

I have heard that keeping it in the dark is a good idea. I too only buy about a years worth at a time. It is not like it is going to become unobtainable.
