Recieved an email from bargain coils...used to be evs i believe. In the email it advertised hollow wire. Juat wondered if anyones got any experience of using it??

I've heard talk of it, apparently it heats up quicker than the solid equivalent but has the same resistivity. If it's going cheap, probably worth a punt.

Stainless is fine, just a really low glow when dry burning it so as to not create poisonous oxides. It's best done in low light or I cup my hand around it. Sounds interesting but I can't see how the same gauge would give the same resistance if hollow. Hopefully you can get your resistance high enough with it for a mech as if as said then it could be a great vape. I ain't forgotten thebishman and I will post that stuff ASAP 😊👍

I use Innowire branded hollow SS wire.
Benefits are a quicker ramp up and better battery life as there is less wire to heat up.
I also found I can build a couple of guages lower in hollow wire and still get the same resistance as a higher guage solid build. (26AWG hollow / 28AWG solid comes out at about 0.8ohms).
