Yeah I read about it yesterday in the FT forum where everyone was speculating that it wasn't glass etc..
I would still go for the V4, got a bigger chimney on it and the tank capacity is better than any of the others.

Have both, and the orchid is a much better atty all round. It's got the vapour production of an RDA with the flavour and ease of a tank. By far the easiest atty to coil as well. Pretty much the same deck as the plumeveil which is also my fave RDA My kayfuns are sat collecting dust now so you think the orchid v4 i ordered is gonna shelf my kayfuns? nooooooooooo xD Is the v4 the new one released today? I loose track of what version it's on now. Never in my whole vaping have I seen an atty come out and get modified sooooo much, soo quickly. Dont get me wrong there are like 40 Different kayfuns on FT, but the kayfun has been out years now and they are all pretty similar where as the orchid has evolved soo rapidly. I think this has to do with its popularity and just how great the original design is. Trust me, they are outstanding

I can't get your 1st url to work marcus1988 Just a link to an ohm meter on the bay, have a search and you will find some rather cheap ones. If you want something thats super accurate then the ones from here are what you want.. www.shop.usaohmmeters.comThey read out In real time and are a lot more accurate than anything available in China or over here for that matter.

For me, I vape sub ohm because I enjoy the warmth of the vapour and the flavour from the thick dense clouds. Its also just kinda progressed from when I started with an ego and cargo. Its much more of a hobby than something to stop me smoking. When vaping subohm I will often use 0mg, maybe 3mg now and again for that real "nic kick" you get. I suppose as it's became more and more of a hobby it's just kinds progression and tinkering with different builds. I use to build daily, constantly watching youtube videos and following builders on FB and IG for inspiration and pushing the boundaries. For some people they are happy with an MVP and a protank, others will want to tinker, build and try new things all the time... Im one of those who when I have a hobby it pretty much takes over my life.. And it's the same with vaping Well that's my little ramble of why I like to vape "sub ohm" I feel like I'm at some kinda addict recovery meeting... "hi I'm Marcus and I've been subohming about 22months daily, I've tried getting clean but just can't break the habit" hehe

For a first rebuildable choosing a squape reloaded is crazy, even with 2.5yrs building constantly a squape can he bloody frustrating to set up. A kayfun or even the eLeaf Lemo would be much better place to start. I would say your best off starting with an RDA, learn how to wrap coils then move on to an RBA. Tanks take a lot more to set the wicking up right and when you are just starting out that's one less thing to worry about until you feel comfortable. That's just my opinion though With this forum I'm sure whatever you choose their will be plenty of people able to support you all the way

Greg in reply to your first message about the "is that not a non glass tank" it is standard but the kayfun nano tank fits it perfectly, plus there are other glass tanks that fit the orchid.. 99% of kayfun accessories fit.

Some attys work better at higher resistance! There's a time and a place for everything IMO. Drippers are useless with anything over 10pm, you just don't get the flavour or vapor production on them, where as a tank, kayfun, squape etc I prefer around .8-.9 But the orchid I run around .5/.6 dual coil and that's the sweet spot for me. Different strokes for different folks and all that jazz

Many thanks for the replies to my inane question, it's a good job a list of short forms was posted else I would have been asking what an "atty" was! As it is, is a dripper the bit you suck through? When someone is referring to a dripper, they mean a dripping atomiser. The mouthpiece is called a "drip tip" - DT
