If you oxidize your wick well enough, your mesh slug can rest on the bottom of the atomizer. That's how people did in the hellfire and lux dripper with mesh. The drill bit method is great here. The resistance after you fired up your coil to get that layer of carbon, should not change significantly when you insert your wick. This is the early warning if it does. If you are worried with shorts you can always put a sleeve of Ekowhool around it. Never tried that myself to be honest. going to have to stick some cotton in the base under the mesh wick.

ok have a problem when i wrap my coild around the mesh they arnt tight enough to it i have the rolled mesh placed through a little screwdrive and still the coils are too loose any tips Apologies if this isn't new. Have you tried the other way around, putting the mesh wick in a coil already in place? Todd shows this on the video. It's a quite a method. All you need is a drill bit You then adjust the mesh to fit the coil.

I tried the FT version and the Gearbest. I prefer the Gearbest, currently my FT version is gathering dust. The FT version seems very prone to shorts, never really took it apart to find out. I have read in some forums the arrival of versions 1.1. The first wave was far from a one to one. You couldn't fit thicker ribbon, the centre post was a lot shorter and the well was narrower. I have not looked into those but it might be worth investigating as they might have fixed a few issues. It' a great atty if you like genny, forgiving, easy to build and doesn't leak. I still prefer my Origen Genny, cooler vape

I think that 8 weeks is more sensible given the turnouts this year, it can always be changed back at a later date if things pick up or a nice central london owner-landlord joins the forum. Thanks again for sorting these Phoenixflame (Julie) you are doing a cracking job and I really like this venue, it just had nicer atmosphere than the last 3 IMO. Totally agree with all Jon said. Look forward to the next one. 8 weeks sound reasonable, they are special occasions for me now looking forward to seeing you in September. I am going to miss Vapefest but I wish you have a lot of fun and reasonably soar heads the day after!

What a lovely evening that was. The venue was great, bright, roomy and with no silly fire alarms. Great to have drinks with some new faces for me (Dr.Mark, bullgog,etc... Great people) and banter with the regulars. Our hosts, lovely as ever and what a fantastic job you have done, thank you!

Looks like it will be delayed. Chinese whisper are saying problems in testing are causing it, couldn't find any official info to back it up. As long as it comes out solid.....

I'm not going to be able to make it gang I got rushed into Hospital on Friday and have diverticulitis leading to a perforated bowel, leading to peritonitis - so I'm currently sat in a ward with 5 old women, 3 of whom have varying degrees of dementia, with an NG tube, a catheter, an abdominal drain a feeding cannula and a fluids and drugs cannula. Can't see me being out of here until at least the weekend Oh no! How are you feeling? Its nothing threatening right?
