I have been looking at some of the posts on this atomiser and some people are using .25 wire on this. I always used thicker wires for all the well known reasons but also because it did not snap easily when pulsing for shorts. It appears people are happy with 3 wraps of .25. I guess with that wire you will be less prone to strangling the wick but I guess you'll have to pulse very gently to start with. I am going to give it a go tonight

agree very tempting... can you hold out till the reviews are out??? My wallet and gut are having a debate. My wallet makes a good point and its very rational. My gut just doesn't care..... We all know how its going to end up.

I have a few 3 mg juices from vapejam and some steel rope if anyone is interested. I get paid in booze, cookies....and pretend to be interested in the atrocities that come out of my mouth....

It looks like a solid bit of kit. The doors might be a simple design trick to keep the cost down by standardizing components. I have a suspicion this will be highly customization. So the rumors flying around is that this will be an SX330 chip. Not sure which one. I don't really care for the TC, I guess i will try it eventually and probably love it but I am not fussed at the moment, just want a solid chip. Just wanted a review to make sure it lives up to the expectation.......
so terribly tempted....

Hi everyone,
My current box is letting me down and I saw this one pop in pre-orders on my-epack and others. Apparently landing mid june. Looks like a very compact mode, bigger then the 50W version but with Temperature control.
Most likely to have the Yihi chip (Sorry to be repeating what everyone knows) and it will cost £50.
I am very tempted but I am no longer willing to be a guinea pig for uncharted mods.
Risks seems low as I believe Sigelei (never owned one) have a good track record.
What do we think?
Thank you
Edit : a few more details if did not already know:
One 18650 Battery (Battery not included)
Lowest Resistance: 0.05 Ω
Power Range: 5-75 Watt ( 0.1w)
Size: 90*40*24mm
Temp Control Range: 100 C - 350 C/ 212 F - 662 F
Conventional Color: Black/ Silver

What temp control mod are you using now blakey? Using the sharks mostly for tanks and dripping and the flask for squonking. Not a fan of the sx350j chip for temp control, I always find pulse width too harsh a Vape. I am tempted by the new sigelei 75w. Should be an sx chip. Worth a punt for 50-60£. Maybe you and @ VapingBad can help me make my mind up at the meet.

Try the nickel blakey, when pulsing take out of temp mode to avoid preheat and start at low watts. I haven't vaped a genny with kanthal for months, probably 5 and only then to do an A/B comparison. I've done nickel in gennies that way quite a few times and I found the benefits do not outweigh the faff. Tbh, it's nice to have finally found a juice that I can enjoy in genesis atties cos it means that all these genesis atties will finally start getting some use but the bulk of my vaping these days is done with temp controlled dripping and squonking What temp control mod are you using now blakey?

Could you explain what makes the Gearbest version much better please? The threading is better and I think the dimensional accuracy is better. Some things I noticed: The non threaded section of the centre post seems shorter on the FT. Perhaps the threads went down too much. If you want to do 4/5 wraps it makes a difference. The entire post/deck assembly unwinds itself far too easily in my FT version. The best gear only needed a nudge and don't come out now when I unscrew the inner sleeve. The biggest one for me. I received the FT version first. I had shorts on the top and bottom in every build. When I got the other one the problem was gone, it's minimal adjustments. Not sure why to be honest. The draw on the FT is tighter, even on the bigger holes. Glass tank. On FT one I have to do a lot of effort. Maybe its the orings I did not try yet, the other one is smooth. Not loose but smooth coming out. Aesthetically the gearbest version has got the outer sleeve brushed. Please don't take this as me putting FT down. It just happened that I received both in a short space of time and they are different. I hope it makes sense., I am pretty crap at trying to explain these things on the forum.

I found this atomiser to work best with a wick similar to your ( shorter, maybe 16 mm) to make sure the mesh doesn't spread out at the bottom of the post. This will block the holes and it will have issues wicking. I would try shorter. The clincher is a another wrap 25*6 of 400 mesh at the top. So the visible part of the wick where you will wrap your coil will have the 2. That will take on more liquid and I find it boosts the flavour. When you wrap it put no tension on the wire. You should notice only the top and bottom coils light up if it is too tight. These clones will struggle with high VG. Mine starts to complain about 70/30. 50/50 and bellow it wicks like a champ. Keep at it, it delivers great flavour and it has not leaked on me once! Ok. Is a FT one? Try and lift the bottom coil from the deck. Do the normal wiggle on the other coils it should help. Its really spinning the Atty but don't put any tension on the wire, minimal. I have a tendency to do the same.... The mesh should slide easily from the rod. It shouldn't drop on its own but slide easily. Have you tried flaming the wire first. Makes it more malleable and you tend to strangle the coil less. Beware of the length of the mesh. This one makes a real difference. These clone won't take a wick as long as the original. Thanks, yep thats what is happening to me when i coil, the lowest wrap is heating up much quicker than the rest. Also how tight are you wraping the mesh, i get the feeling im wrapping that too tight too.

I have both the FT and gearbest version. The gearbest is so much better. I have given up in the FT and keeping it for spares.
