I used to buy a lot of copper mods, but I got tired of the gang green hands of death look. Now they are mostly shelved, but for the occasional cloud contest. I LOVE brass and stainless steal mods and am just getting into the aluminum mods. I really like a lot of combo or mixed mods with both stainless and brass. Like the Lunar I have up top. I think it's the weight of the aluminum mods that gets me liking them so much. lol Only bad part is picking it up and automatically checking to see if it has a battery in it cause it feels to light. Then the OH it's aluminum. >.> <.< Just ordered this. Hemlock Mod.

Less is more on the box mod obviously Most of the time I like to build boxes with a mosfet switch cause most small switches can only handle a max load of 5 amps. The mosfet acts as the main switch being able to handle hundreds of amps and the small switch just switches that mosfet. I have seen just switch setups fail after a month or so with .01/.02 coil builds. Then again I've seen them last almost a year. The switch I used was a good one and I think it will last a good while, lol maybe a long time depending on how he vapes the box.

Got an orchid V4 coming, it will be my second RBA, now I have my Kayfun running perfectly Im feeling confident.. I showed how I build my Orchid in another thread. Between all the builds in that thread you should be fine. Orchid coil builds.

Lol ok gonna make this my all in one thread lol. Made another box mod today. Most times I make mine with a mosfet switch to take the load off the main switch. This guy wanted strait switch and wiring as simple as I could make it lol anddd in 26650 batteries. I traded him the box I made for an authentic dark horse mod. And the Dark Horse 26650 mod.

I am an electrician and we use aluminum a lot. It's a very good conductor. I have been wanting a good aluminum mod for a while and when I saw this I jumped on it and got a good deal on it with the combo. Me right now. >.>

For an aluminum bodied mod it hits like a full copper. Liking the floating magnet button system it uses. Very smooth throw.

Well the day before yesterday was clone vape mail day and today is authentic vape mail day lol. Got a Tug boat V2 w/ Steam cap and the new Tug boat mod. Loving this setup. It's light, hit's hard, and looks bad ass IMO.

I have an authentic Russian 91%, a EHpro Kayfun Plus V2 with dual air flow, and a few Orchids. The Russian was my first RTA atomizer after I moved from pre-built coil tanks. Since I have had or tried just about every RTA/RDA/RDTA that there is. But still that russian always ends up back in my hand daily. It started off jet black and through all it's bumps, bangs, and flying leaps it's now scratched and just about back to stainless steel. It's been rebuilt twice and had it's tank changed out a few times to end up with the glass one it has now. I used to carry it at work, but now I just carry the cheap Orchids and the Russian stays on my computer desk waiting for me.

Can't wait till I get my Lemon Chiffon Pie recipe finished. I am trying to make a clone of The Plume Rooms vesion and I'm just about right there. It's at 8.0 right now and 9.0 I think I will have the levels right. I think it will be a hit. Sweet lemon, tart lemon for zest, cream, ginger snaps crust, whipped cream..... nom nom nommins. I'm really wanting to share it with this community. It will be a 80/20 VG/PG. Lol well mine will be high VG, guess it can be changed for who ever might try it.

I was thinking of doing a twisted 28 AWG or twisted 0.8MMx0.01MM/0.9MMx0.01MM ribbon wire. As far as my juices go I use no less then 50/50 with my VG/PG. I have found that I don't have a great tolerance for PG. It seems to make the roof of my mouth feel raw if I use it in to high of a ratio. Most of my mixes will be from 70/30 VG/PG and up, a lot as close to max VG as possible. So this build works well with thick juices.

Okay got it torn down and put back together. Takes a bit longer then a Kayfun or Russian, but so much more flavor and clouds can be produced. Like I said before this is .511mm or 24 AWG kanthal. This same coil build and wicking also works just as good with .405MM/26 AWG and .321MM/28 AWG. Surprisingly This 24 AWG build is close to par with a Kayfun/Russian 91% on both flavor and heat produced when using a .405MM/26 AWG 8 wrap 3mm coil. First off my deck. I drilled this deck out to the next size drill bit compared to the original hole. Second Coil shots. These show how close I get the coil to the air holes and how they are positioned. Now for wicking. I stuff a lot into the holes as you can see. Then I just cut the excess in a circular motion around the main deck. Sorry if these came out blurry. Could not get my cam to focus for crud tonight. As you can see there is a LOT of cotton. With how I have the coils aligned I still get really good air flow. Plenty of air flow to keep the coils cool or close to cool. It takes me a 4 or 5 consecutive drags to get it warm/hot. Also I do not stuff the Japanese cotton into the juice holes, but with as much cotton as I use some does get trapped in the threads when putting the chimney on. All together. I have a V4 coming like in days from now lol, but this is a V2 with extended V4 chimney and Kayfun full poly tank. I also have a V1, but I'm still waiting on the top fill kayfun cap to get here for it.

LOL sitting here trying to empty it. It sounds angry lol when you click that button.
To add I have drilled my first Orchid out. If you look at the base of the orchid on that link I posted you see a beveled edge where the intake hole drops down into the deck. I drilled that bevel out to the next size drill bit basically. It has a little better air flow now for Lower ohm builds. Gotta watch out with drilling an Orchid though cause you will run into the insulator if you go to much. Like I said the NEXT size drill bit then the original hole size.
