Q you need to upgrade the firmware I'd stick with version 1.7 as that's stable and you should see a big improvement in the performance for yourself and if you don't then yeah you've got a dud . One aspect of upgradeable firmware that might end up not being good is products rushed out the door on the assumption it can be resolved at a later date but of the 7 x cube 2's I've had a play with none have had your issue but they were all v1.06 firmware.

Not one of the few at all pxr its sub ohm that's a minority thing same as clouding just has very vocal supporters vast majority of vapers are happy with ego setups.

It's like everything you've gotta try it at least once because it may be better for you, forums are great places for info but sometimes things become the latest thing and everyone gets caught up in it and feel they should get better b3cause someone else did. Old personal taste thing was, is and always will be the best way to choose the setup for you.

My little dovpo is still on pre sale and I'm hearing more and more bad stuff about gearbest so the wait is really killing me. Before I ordered this from gearbest don't remember hearing much bad about them except time to deliver but now everyday I'm reading bad stuff lol funny how that seems to be the way.

If you want Max flavour sub ohm isn't it I have a couple of technically sub ohm builds but my happy spot is 1.2ohms fantastic flavour and plenty of vapour even though that's not a thing I'm overly bothered about. It's different things for different people some get a better experience from sub ohming just as some of us do +ohm all adds to the variety of vaping.

I just use a kayfun type build and all mine still chuck out the flavour and vapour keeping it simple seems to have worked best for me, when I've tried the more exotic builds things go awry which I put down to two things my building and the fact the subtank rba is a very simple setup and perhaps simple builds might be the best way with it.

Not sure what it will be on the dovpo as that is a clone of the DNA40 but on the sx mini he sweet spot for me was 180°C and I noticed a difference between Fahrenheit & Celsius even supposedly at the same temp on the sx mini I'm not technical enough to know why but definitely was a difference on Fahrenheit it was hotter hoping the DNA clone will be more consistent.

Can't beat some good old hot water soaking now and then with tanks, all mine are taken apart every month soaked, wiped down, recoiled and rewicked any longer and the taste seems to suffer.

Vaping outlaws is something to do with ukecigstore sure that's what my ohm checker is as well, it's ok but not sure I'd touch their battery's guaranteed to be rewraps I'd stick with Sammy 25r's although I'm thinking of trying some LG HE4's next time I replace my battery's seen good things said about them.

Am really looking forward to getting my dovpo and finally being able to play with tc myself using my friends m class for a weekend sold me totally on tc the vape was just more consistent and the subtle flavours were more noticeable although that might just have been me. Find myself wishing my life away for the GB pre sale to end and them send me my new time consumer .

If your unsure about temp control like me and want to have a try without spending much one of the best deals I found was at gearbest a pre sale of the dovpo mini 50w tc £26.50 with free shipping. The normal mini seems to have got good reviews and the few user's I've found are happy with it saying it's no frills but just works, I've never owned a dovpo before or ordered from gearbest so total shot in the dark but I did make sure the enclosure can be used for a diy job I might attempt in the future if nothing else.

Most of the latest sub ohm tanks are within a hair of each other biggest deciding factor between them will be your personal preference, as for rta's that is more complicated but I like my gear to be as simple as it's owner so the lemo really does fit that bill with the added bonus it performs great. Only you really know how much time and effort you have to put into whatever you purchase and that's the best starting point pick a few read up on them on forums and watch some YouTube review's to try and nail it down to one. Hope you can find the one that suits you best and help is always there .
