I got the following email:
Hi Michael,
Thank you for your order. FastTech puts quick shipment and prompt service. Your FastTech order C123081907 is going to be shipped within 12 hours.
To speed up processing of your shipment, the following products (SKUs) will be shipped in a separate package:
9459700
Products are typically shipped in a separate package because of one or more of the following reasons:
- Some items was displayed as "ships in X days" when ordering and thus they cannot be shipped promptly - Some of the items were rejected during pre-shipment QC check, and we're acquiring new supplies from suppliers - The items' distributors have missed their supply schedule and thus we did not have enough stock to fulfill your order
You can expect your second package to ship within a few days, and all of your packages will ship using the same shipping service you have chosen during checkout. We'll also e-mail shipment notifications to you as each of your packages ship. Please let us know if you have questions about this arrangement. Thank you.
Kind regards,
The FastTech Team
The only thing is it's been 8 days (not "a few days") as stated above. I'll leave another few days and then I'll contact them.

Hi guys,
I've just got a little query. I've bought quite a few items from Fasttech who usually ship within a few days. By "ship" I mean dispatched from their end and then a few weeks for the items to arrive here in the UK. I'm just a bit concerned that my last order placed on 30th December has not yet "shipped". Maybe I'm worrying over nothing but it's been 2 weeks since I placed the order and I've never waited more than about a week in the past for an order to ship. Should I be worried or not?

Many many thanks guys for all your help and advice. I've learnt a lot and my head is a lot clearer and not quite so bamboozled! Very last question (yeah right) and just as a matter of interest, i'm just wondering about smaller atomizers (like my Kanger EMOW) and the tiny stock coils that they use. I know it's possible to rebuid these (not that i'm intending to do so) but is it possible to just re-wick these and still use the same coil (similar to larger tanks)? As i say i'm not going down that road but i've kept all my used coils and might want to play with them on a rainy day! Thanks as ever!

Ok ... last piece of the puzzle is what battery/mod to get. I've definitely decided on an Eleaf Istick as I really like the look and feel of them (I have two 20W Isticks). However, I'm looking at the huge selection on Fasttech and am bewildered as to which (Istick) would be best for me? I mean they have 20W, 30W, 40W, 50W, 60W, 75W, 80W, 100W, 200W etc etc! I just don't understand why the huge range? Do I plump for something in the middle or does size really matter??? (My only other criteria is I like to be able to charge via the mains).
Thanks in advance as ever. I'd be totally lost without the help of you guys on here!

That's really good to hear! Doesn't seem quite so daunting now! If I can do it, then I'm positive you can mikemichelle . . . . it's seldom I do a full coil change if I can possibly help it, dry burning/rewicking now that I find quite enjoyable. There's something rather satisfying about seeing the gunk you've succeeded in zapping! I'm using coils that are literally a couple of years old, although they do tend to need doing more often the older they get. All music to my ears - thank you!

mikemichelle late on this thread,I can rebuild the emow heads no problem, pmif intyerested. I've got all the gear to rebuild emow coils and seen a few videos. I probably could do it if i set my mind to it but i want to evolve my vaping up to the next level. Thanks for the offer tho.

Coils can last a very long time. It's the wick that needs changing. You need to do a dry burn of the coil after removing the old wick to burn off/loosen any gunk. Put in a new wick and you should be good to go. Unless you break the coil it does not need changing. That's really good to hear! Doesn't seem quite so daunting now!

Once again, many thanks to you all who have given me such great advice and guidance. My last question (well don't quote me on that) is about the life of rebuildable coils. It's probably one of those how long is a piece of string questions, but is it possible to calculate an average length of time before rebuilding a replacement coil? I guess different makes and models are affected differently and of course it depends on usage which will vary from one person to another. But can someone give a back of a fag packet guestimate of sorts?

Hi guys. Anyone tried/own a Morpheus Vape Mod Kit? Most importantly, does anyone know if the coils are rebuildable?

Well, thanks to all the wonderful help on this forum I've got my order in for my tanks. However, I feel I need to upgrade my battery. Once again, any advice and recommendations would be very gratefully received. Thanks in advance. What's the next step up from my Eleaf iStick 20w?

mikemichelle If you are going to be using Kanthal I have some lengths of 32AWG 28AWG and 26AWG for you to experiment with just PM me. I only use Stainless Steel now so it is going to waste. Thanks Richard46 but I already have got loads of wire and stuff. I'm only lacking the actual tank but thanks once again.

Kayfun V5 Mini clone. LINKFoolproof to install coils and wick. I would recommend using 26AWG Kanthal A1 for your coils as it's thick enough to be easy to work with but also thin enough to get the resistance you need with a reasonable number of wraps. LINK use the dropdown menu to select the correct gauge and spool size you want. The minimum resistance coil the iStick 20W will fire is 1.0ohm, 8 or 9 wraps on a 2.5mm coiling rod should make a coil of 1.0ohm to 1.2ohm. This video is for the full size version but it's identical to the mini the only difference is the mini is a little shorter, the build deck, airflow and everything else is the same. If you don't want to watch the whole video skip to around 12.30 and you'll see how to install the coil and wick it. Thank you so much Get Off My Cloud that is really helpful!

kayfun v3 is defo worth a look as its relatively easy to rebuild and only 19mm wide so can be used on some of the smaller batts Thanks decoy that's the smaller, slimmer look I'm after. Just gone top of my list so far!
