Wow, first time I've visited shapeways. They're not cheap are they.

I'm gathering a few bits and pieces together now to practice soldering etc on. I've seen and understand wiring diagrams enough to manage that bit. I'm well handy with household electrics and pluming and even mechanical enough to strip, repair and rebuild anything with an engine so that side would be ok. It's finesse I struggle with, that finishing touch just isn't quite there, and I've never done much with electronics like soldering. I'm of work on long term sick at the mo so trying to get into this for a hobby.

Wish I had the talent and patience to build a box like that. Oops just re read what you put. Prefer to try and build myself but could be willing to save up all my pocket money for a long time lol.

I've seen o rings advertised with inside diameter, outside diameter and thickness, so you will need at least to measure from the bottom of the groove (thinnest part) from 1 side to the other and the height of the groove will give the thickness of o ring needed. So you will need some king of callipers or a digital vernier to measure them.

Finally fried mine trying to solder some new wires on.
So I'm looking for a cheap one I can have a go at, as long as the chip part is ok that will do.
Also any other mod making bits you don't want or need anymore, 510 connectors, switches buttons, chips, enclosures, as long as it's cheap I'll take it.
Cheers.

Many, many thanks clairea. That's exactly the type of response I'm looking.
Anything that nobody wants or needs anymore will be a plus for me, anything from a push button to a 510 connector to fully ran over mod.
Look forward to hearing from you.

Looking to get my hands on some old scrap box mods. Don't care what they are or what's wrong with them or how bad they are. Please don't throw them away. I just want to strip them to see how they work before I start making a decent one for myself. So anything considered cheaper the better. As long as it's a regulated mod I'll learn something from it.

Anyone thinking about parting with an Egrip, I've got cash waiting for the right one. Want a decent one, prefer with all accessories, prefer black but not bothered too much, and would prefer the RBA bit or two with it. so if your fed up with yours or don't use it I'm waiting for 1.

Just received the spares for the v4, excellent, not part of the deal but gave them to me anyway. Thanks very much again.

Well not so good this time, the Strawberry,Coconut &Liqorice didn't go down well at all with me and the missus I'm afraid. But on a good note, the Apple&Blackcurrant Strudel was beautiful. An extra drop of flavouring wouldn't hurt for me. But I will definitely be buying that again. Well done Jonco that's 3 out of 4 flavours spot on, my best juice so far. If your interested in my juice finds so far have a browse. docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1--wNUzMPOJTs82tuKz2aDM8nfATKkVtD93fAFsAA1IQ/edit?usp=docslist_api

Think I bought the el cheapo. Worked great, 3 times. Now it just reads 1 ohm all the time. It's shorting somewhere in the 510 connector which I have now removed and stripped everything else from. I've ordered a new fat daddy type 510 which is spring loaded and few other bits to make rta workstation. It will have 2 510 connectors on it, 1 where I can build fit and measure the resistance of the coil and the other will be able to fire the coil to test and tweak it. More of a hobby thing than a necessity.
