So, I now want to try a different liquid, but have no new cartos at the moment. Do I just run the carto really low, then out the new liquid in and accept the fact it will be a bit of a mix for a while?

....really, I am. The SD keyring has been so fantastic for me. Tonight has been a massive test, a drunken family party with lots of smokers. Won't say it wasn't hard, but an easy pass for me.
So. Looking forward. I need some more kanga carts and more juice. Loving the arctic cherry and hubbley bubbley grizwald juice, which suprised me as I thought I would prefer the coffee/tobacco juices.
I have been looking at liberty flights. Do you think i would like the pink spot juices? They sound great! And a good price, with free delivery.
Any thoughts?

The flavours I got are: Jamaican Fruit Punch..not tried it Arctic Cherry... OK RY4... not keen Arctic lemon....on this now but taste not coming through yet. Peaches...no tried it Menthol Tabac...not tried it Choco Haze free sample....really dont like this I am going to order caramel, butterscotch and maybe cappuccino and a few more but I havent decided yet which ones. If you decide you dont want to keep any and want a swap, let me know. |

I agree superdon....its good fun. I am on Arctic Lemon at the moment though I cant taste it at all because of the residual taste of chocolate from the previous one.  Its like a new hobby plus feelings of relief and optimism that I am going to be able to get rid of the evil weed forever.  What flavours did you go for? I got arctic cherry, Lubbley bubbley, 666, golden birginia, cocomel and caramel espresso. Only really liking the arctic cherry and bubbley at the moment. I think I read the arctic lemon could taste a bit like cleaning fluid, what do you think? The arctic cherry is great. How are you fining the others? |

The vapour has increased considerably over the course of the day.  I am struggling though with the taste of the juice. I imagined strong bursts of flavour...perhaps I was expecting too much because it hasn't happened. I have tried three and the taste is weak, perhaps its my taste buds. In no way am I saying there is anything wrong with the juice. In fact I am going to order more flavours from the same supplier. The main thing is that I haven't had a fag since yesterday! Hi bluebell, I kind of know what you mean on the flavours. There are more subtle in some ways than I imagined. I have now spent about 24 hours on just one juice and it's coming through a lot more now. I think expectations, taste buds and the equipment take a bit of time to all bed in. I thought I would not like the sweeter juices, but it's the deeper tobacco/coffee I realise now I don't like. It's all good fun. |

I have a few grizwald pick n mix bottles that I would like to swap. Preferably other grizwald pick n mix in fruit, menthol and sweet flavours.
I have a full 5ml golden birginia
I have cocomel, 666 and caramel espresso - at least 3ml of each but probqbly more like 4ml at least.
Anyone want to do any swaps?

Just to keep you all updated, I had a successful night shift. Topped up one carto as I left and it pretty much lasted the night. Took another carto and used a bit of that too. The SD keyring seemed to last for what I needed as well. I had half hour when I was able to pop it on charge for a bit. Will definitely be handier having another one though. Actually enjoyed the night though with it and didn't have the normal cravings.
As for the flavours, I am thinking I am liking the sweeter ones much more than the others. I don't dislike the others, but probably wont use them at least in the short term. If I post them for swaps in the classifieds will I have any takers? There's cocomel, golden birginia, 666, caramel espresso. The golden is pretty much full (5ml) and the others have at least 4ml I would say. Ideally I would want to swap for other sweet/methol/fruit juices from the grizwald sampler. I know some might say keep them and try them again, but I don't want to spend too much early on, and want to sample lots of juices, so I am hoping to swap if possible.

It's usually the case that people find them too tight ??? Not to worry though, I can sort you another one out if needed. Glad you got your order though It's definitely on correctly, just loose. If I can try another that would be great I can return the one I have. |

I have lost many drip tips, there's some really nice fancy ones out there at a price, but as I know for sure I'm going to lose them I've given up on them ;-) Looks naff, but I punch a hole in the closed end of one of the carto condoms and just slip that over the mouth end, not as harsh a feeling in your mouth then. I did see that done on a video somewhere. I'll try that once I inevitably lose the tip (probably tonight at work!) |

I just didn't get much flavour at all from it. Will try mixing with the espresso at some point. Is it best to keep the liquids in the fridge? |

Don, on most of my cartos, the aluminium drip tip I got from Vape Escape is a good tight fit, but a while back I had a carto it was loose on. Seems to be loose on all the cartos. I'll see how it goes I think, I think the o ring is just a tad too small. |

Thank you both for the quick replies.
I think the 'funny taste' is going now or I m getting used to it at least. The taste is more apparent on the inhale and at the front of the mouth, then the real flavour kicks in. Will see how it goes.
All other points noted.
With the drip tip, I just tried it again. I am taking out the bung, then popping the tip in. It fits nicely and the o ring is in the right place and works well, but it's just a little bit too loose still. Not a problem in general, but if it's in my pocket it comes off.
Still testing the juices and keep going through them. Can't decide which ones I like at the moment, but the arctic cherry seems to be coming out on top at the moment. The cherry flavour isn't too strong, and is like real cherries rather than fake sweety cherry flavour.
I also like, in a strange way, the caramel espresso. I think the hubbley bubbley and cocomel are coming last and I am undecided on the 666. Also was given some golden birginia, which I haven't tried yet. The method cartons included with the SDK are ok, but the grizwald stuff is MUCH better.

Afternoon My goodies arrived today from vape escape. Great service! So, spent the morning having a go with it all. I have used one of the two (methol) cartomisers for a bit. I have also, because I was desperate to try the other flavours from the pick n mix, filled each of the 5 kanger cartos with a different flavour each. Is it ok to do it like this, and leave the carts filled with juice for a while? Now, I can obviously tell the difference with all the different juices. But, and this is difficult to describe, when you first inhale they all have the same slightly strange taste. Its not a bad taste, just not a nice one either. The taste then goes a bit over a few puffs. Just wondering if thats just the way it is, or something else is going on (do the cartos need to bed in?!?). Its a similar taste to the smell to the raw liquid itself. The other question is, I bought a drip tip to go on the SD keyring. Its really quite loose, so if I put i in my pocket the tip falls off. Is this normal? I may have already asked this. But, how do I know when I need to refill a carto? I have filled them all up fully, i think, but just wondered how long each will last now. I have read different things. Some suggest not very many puffs at all, and others say it will last fo hours. I appreciate it depends how much you are actually using it. Finally. I am on a night shift tonight and will be taking my goodies with me. I know the battery isnt supposed to last for hours, but if I use it through the night for the equivalent of about 8 cigarettes worth of time, will it last the night? Also, will one cartomiser get me through? Sorry for all the questions again. Thanks. |
