Good tip about adjusting the wire size, should save a bit of faffin about. I'll get some more wire types ordered and carry on experimenting. I need to rest the Lizer for a few weeks as it has hammered my juice stocks! Not complaining, just surprised how much juice it gets through! Many thanks.

Thanks for the link VB very informative and has helped me understand a few grey areas. I have been playing around with Steam Engine this week, looking for suitable builds for my aromamizer. I have built quiet a few coils and am making a bit of progress. (I think! ) My preferred heat flux is quite low, ( around 150mw/mm at 35w ) I realise that the aromamizer is more suited to lower ohm's and higher wattages but am hoping to get it working reasonably well. Do you know if Steam Engine can be used in reverse, so to speak? ie. enter the heat flux, coil diameter etc. and then let it suggest number of wraps and size of wire? I am probably wide of the mark here and talking b######s. Too many variables I imagine!

Glad you're enjoying it a bit more mate. I cut the little guard of my driptip as I read it improved the flavour. Can't really say if it does as I'm not getting too much anyway! What build did you go with?

Hi, Blakey, yes, I have read about lining up the coil with the airflow slots and have marked my base with a felt pen to help alignment. My vertical coils are slightly below the tops of the posts so I will definitely try raising them up a mm or 2. Not beaten yet mate. Any chance of a pic of your build? First of all, your a bustad for making me look in there, now I've seen it I have to rewick The coils are ni200 29guage and have clearly dropped, but if you look at the discolouration of the coil you'll notice that most of the action is at the top of the coil which is why we build them high. The wick showing at the top of the coil is excessive probably due to the coils dropping. But you'll get a good idea of what you should be aiming for. Cheers for that Blakey, a gentleman should always be aware of the state of his wick though, I mean, look at the state of your droopy coil, must do better!! Haha! Thanks for the pics, I've got a better idea now and will report back when I've had a play. And side on

Havn't got much experience with nickel builds VB, I want to like this tank as it was gifted. Think I have some ni200 somewhere, I'll look it out and try the horizontal coils. I dry burn my kanthal coils every two days on my kanger sub tanks Does nickle gunk up as quickly? Sometimes the air hole doesn't line up with the coil. Try marking the base in line with the coil and then screw on the tank and unscrew till the air hole meets the mark that you made. That could well be what's causing your flavour issue. Personally I use the two hole band and I make sure that the hole is directly in front of the coil, I build the coils high be they vertical or horizontal - level with the top of the posts. minime, don't be too glass half empty about it, we all have different tastes .ALL the reviewers I have read/watched have said the flavour is good. Most don't like the airflow control ring or the drip tip nipple thing, but all sing the praises of vapour and Flavour and VB has certainly got his rocking. This attie is a big step for me too, but I won't give up just yet. Playing around with different builds ect is half the fun isn't it?

Hi reefcat, I received two air control bands with mine, the two and four hole. The four was much too airy for me. My comments above are based on the two hole one. Nice boat btw!

Greetings all, I received one of these tanks as a pressie and was initially excited about my first foray into 'proper' sub-ohm vaping. I use kanger stm's but despite trying every wicking method have never got above 12-13 watts without dry hits and scorching. I watched a bunch of videos and read a lot of stuff on the aromamizer and decided to build twin 0.4 3mm vertical coils which came out at 0.6 ohms. I carefully wicked and trimmed the tops flush with the the V2 posts, set my mod to 20w and fired her up. Loads of vapour but no flavour to speak of. Crept it up to the maximum heat I could stand (30w) but very little improvement. Vaped the 6mm tankful in shockingly short time, I'd say this thirsty boy would gulp 30 ml a day easily!! Washed the tank out and refilled with the same result. That's where I'm at with it at the moment. Wicks really well but only 2 out of 10 for flavour. I must be doing something wrong I suppose, but haven't got it sussed yet. All in all, a big disappointment considering the hype about this tank.

Buried away in their website, I see they have a range of custard's Doughnut stand there called. Has anyone tried these? Only sell 70ml bottles so a lot to tip down the sink if I don't approve haha
