I'm using whatever came with it. the atomizer is the bit that screws off when i charge it, right? and it has a bit of tin foil type stuff in.

Thanks for all the advice, i haven't ordered anymore liquid yet but i got my ego today so will need to.
Now, i'm sat here with all the bits in front of me and i have no idea what to do. Do i just drip some of the liquid into the fluffy bit??

I don't know what flavours to get. Smoking sweet things seems weird to me but that's cos i've never vaped any flavour!! I ordered a tobacco one with the starter pack just to try it out although i know most people say they're pants. And i ordered VG/PG mix cos i didn't know which to get.
The liquid alone is a minefield ha!

Love it thanks! Right i've ordered the 1100mah Ego for £29.71. So 10ml should last about 5 days right? And it comes with 2 atomizers and 5 carts, which when i've used them i want cartomizers so £5.79 for a pack of 5 (and they can be refilled over and over?). So now i need to get those and the liquid which is £22. Where is the seriously cheap liquid you speak of? Link is the same  Thanks so much! edit - oh hang on, i need a drip tip?! |

Thanks so much for asll the help in this thread. Sorry I went awol, I had shoved this to the back of my mind as have had confirmation that i'm moving on 20th Feb.
So i estimate to spend approx £130 in cigs between now and then. But I could get set up with this for a lot less, am i right?! So that money saved could pay for the bathroom floor at the very least.
Feel like i need someone to make the decision for me! "Right you want this, buy it from here, it costs this much" LOL !

I have no idea Des, i guess i make fags a priority but we seem okay and the kids don't go without. I have minimal bills though! I'm not looking just now, studying and the toddler take up all the time.
New house is a massive incentive as it's a new build, so never been smoked in before! I get the decision on it in a few days so fingers crossed.

Brilliant! I love this forum already!! I can't even reply to everyone fully as there's so much Leftfield thanks for explaining how they work, i definitely want a cartomiser then. Thank you Des for the money breakdown, yes it is a LOT cheaper than i had thought, so excellent and all the more reason to do this. Anne that's good to know as I'm also unemployed at the min and a single parent and moving house soon! (hopefully) I'd quite like to kick the fags before the new house so it has no association with smoking for me, a real fresh start. Chrissie I'm off to check out your links now, thank you for that, it would have taken me days (actually it already has, but i got nowhere - silly me for being so slow to discover this forum). Am i right in saying the Riva 510 doesn't use a cartomiser or are there different types? I can imagine me getting the buy shiny things bug  |

Thanks for the fast and helpful replies! At the minute i'm thinking for the transition a tobacco tasting liquid would be better, is that right? The keyring one looks good, but how long would the battery last on that? I like the sound of the Riva lasting a full day, I don't want any excuses to have a real fag. Where would i buy a Riva starter kit from? I saw on another site some recommendations for liberty flights but they only have white in stock at the minute. I was originally tempted by the E-Lites Groupon to start me off and get a feel for them, but I knew it wouldn't be one i'd carry on with so thought it might be better to just buy a Riva to start with and save money. Cartomizers/Atomizers confuse me a little, not sure of the difference. Also confused by manual/auto. Which is the Riva? Thanks again! |

Hi everyone, I've come over here from MSE after reading the thread there. I'm soo confused (okay it doesn't take a lot  ) I saw reviews pointing me to a Riva 510 but my only concern is that it's apparently the size of a cigar? I am not bothered about it looking like a real cig but I would like to be able to hold it like one i think... maybe just for the transition stage. As an MSE'er I'm very concerned about cost! It's confusing to know what and how many I need to buy and where from! I've seen the bottles of liquid, but no idea how long they would last? It's so important to me that I get the right one from the start, because I can't afford to buy it just for it to end up in the junk drawer lol.. I smoke JPS blue, about 15-20 a day cambermam x |
