I know the iStick is very popular, but my experience with the 50w iSticks is varied ... just 2 months in, and am definitely no expert, but any issues with leaking tanks means that juice goes down to the firing button underneath the tank, autofires/misfires. My first iStick 50w (2 months old) started doing that, so I got the MVP3, which is loads better, and tank isn't positioned over the firing button. Again, I've only had that for a few days, and have learnt how to wick better, thus not leaks, but it is reassuring to know that, even if there was a leak, it wouldn't hit the firing button area. Have experienced the MVP3 to be more sensitive than the iStick too, but I'm only just starting to make my own coils, thus the jumping around of ohms is certainly due to that; it then going on to do the safety shut off confirmed it was my newbie coil that was the issue. Very nice to know it's so safety conscious. My blue iStick (1 month old) is doing fine, but arrived with the firing button more stuck out already and a more definite press needed (different batch?), plus no leak hell has happened on that, just some of it and for less time than on the pink. iStick's are great, but, if you have any concern about leaking/fire button, I'd personally recommend the MVP3, so far. That's my only experience of mods so far, but hope that helps.

Thank you babs  ... great idea, plus sounds perfect for your protank/20w. You reminded me that I have a little aerotank somewhere, plus hadn't thought about putting sample into dropper bottle. One of us is wide awake, and it's not me, lol.
