Yup. I bought a few liquids from my go-to vendor (LT ecigs) and one was fizzy/sherbet and the other was just plain odd. 2 bottles which I would have avoided with a more suitable description. At least they were fruity... some vendors can't even manage to state something so darn simple. It's even worse with some sites they don't even bother listing in flavour groups like fruit, desert, drinks etc they just list by manufacturer then you have to make a complete guess. The same applies to concentrates, Chefs for example have an enormous range but very few have any notes or even a basic clue as to what some of the flavours are. I don't need an in depth review or anything just a basic clue as to what the hell they are. yes, agree, eg was looking at some FA ones yesterday, and no reviews at all on the site (can't recall which one), but found this site that helped (far more description and lots of reviews): description and reviews

I just find it off putting when i go to some juice sites and they have a whole variety of juices with weird and wonderful names but with zero descriptions of what they taste of. I realise tastes are subjective but i would like at least a rough idea of what kind of flavour to expect, with some sites it's almost like walking into a supermarket where they've taken all the labels off the cans on the shelf. THIS! I may be looking at a flavour I would absolutely love. But it is called something like "Egyptian Mist"! WTF does that taste like????? Give me an indication of what the taste is FFS!
Rant over
lol haha ... glad you feel better!

Offering little testers across the board is another thing that would be great; 3ml for a £1 would be perfect.

sounds lovely kittyvape I wanted my custard to be thick yellow lovelyness but they seem to come out watery and tasteless, I do like strong flavours tho so maybe custards are not for me lol Thanks, and I'm the same; it's got to be really thick and tasty! Sure you'll find the right one/mix.

I got the Vanilla Custard v1 (Capella) ... just 3 weeks in to vaping, and just began mixing. To make a decent tasting mix, so far I've discovered this works: 22mg, 60/40 nic 3.1ml pg 3.5ml vg 1ml drops (25%) 50You'll probably find that's nearer to 18% flavouring Kitty . . . 30 drops to 1ml is a closer measurement with an ' average ' dropper bottle, although using a 1ml syringe would be more accurate again. Thanks Perpetua I'll try that with the next mixes, and look forward to the stronger flavour!

I like custards but they all seem lame in flavour, I saw some that were thick and creamy but they don't mix like that well mine don't lol I got the Vanilla Custard v1 (Capella) ... just 3 weeks in to vaping, and just began mixing. To make a decent tasting mix, so far I've discovered this works: 22mg, 60/40 nic 3.1ml pg 3.5ml vg 1ml drops (25%) 50 Not had any steeping time yet (but used dripper to check it was generally okay first), so can only imagine the flavour would get stronger , plus using an iStick 50w, fully open airflow, at about 24w, with a 0.5 coil.

Glad you're enjoying vaping journey. Finding the same about changing flavours. Always go to desserts mainly at this point, plus have a dedicated mint tank. At first, loved all the fruits. Amount of flavours is amazing; a lot of fun, and fun to mix too (Capella Flavour Drops). Can't believe I used to smoke the disgusting stinkies or even like anything remotely tobacco flavoured, lol.

Hi look for a good quality battery like aw or efest and the higher mah it has the longer it should last. Protected batteries are a few mm longer but not a problem for the wood and brass mod. Peace matt. Thanks Matt FyneMods Really appreciate advice.

As its your first time with a mechanical mod i would use a protected battery something like the efest black with red labels just search protected 18650 batteries UK that should bring up some vendors, a protected battery has if you like a built in fuse so will not vent or explode if a problem occurs. aw also make a protected batteries nicore and efest chargers are the best out there they do not over charge and most have a digital display now. avoid batteries with the word fire in there name lol such as trustfire. Hope this helps Peace Matt Thank you very much, FyneMods. Lol, yes, will avoid any 'fire' labelled stuff. Will google. Quick question; which mAh and voltage suit the Wood & Brass? Am seeing protected batteries, but different kinds, as well as a note that these batteries are longer thus may not fit device.

Hi thanks for clarifying, yes the kanger subtank nano will work absolutely fine on our wood and brass mod. The wood and brass mod is a mechanical mod so does not have any circuitry or protection but because you will be using the pre built coils in the subtank nano there is less chance of any problems, it would still be worth getting an ohm tester or just use the istick to check that the ohms of the subtank nano are ok before fitting to the wood and brass mod. If you want to add some safety to the device you could always buy a safe fuse (penny fuse) and install or use the dropov safe link. But to be honest as long as the coil in the nano is good and you do not let it run dry there should not be any problems. Hope this helps Matt :-) Thanks Matt That's great that the Nano would work and that the coils should be safe via test on iStick first. I don't know anything about working with mods, so couldn't install the things you reference. What risks are there if the coil failed while using the mod? And what would be the best battery and charger to use?
