I agree with lairey and igual and anyone else who posts before the time I type this. Saves editing lol Plus sometimes calculators differ in drops per ml count 30 25 and 20 so like lairey and igual have said forget the drop count and use syringes for ml measurements.. Best of luck with mixing Kitty. Thanks stamina Thanks for good wishes. I had followed the ml numbers for VG/PG/nic, but the drop count for flavour. Must have just overfilled syringe by a drop or two of nic possibly.

I think people need to remember that nicotine is a poison before they embark on half cocked mixing adventures, just my opinion I followed all of the guidance, using the right eJuice me up calculator and being really careful.

Thanks lairey No worries; I'd used mls as I had a little syringe, and was excited to try. Jane's kindly sent me some syringes, but I couldn't resist trying before they arrive, lol. Had been worrying incase I'd not done the amounts quite right, even though I was really careful. Yes, I wanted to make 24mg; glad it sounds like I used the right numbers, *phew*. Thanks for advice. What are you vaping the juice in and on and at what power? 24mg may be a little too high for you if it's making you a little light headed and nauseous... the nic level won't change with steeping, unless you didn't give the bottle a good enough shake and you managed to vape some with more nic in it if it hadn't mixed sufficiently... trying not to sound condescending in any way, just trying to get to the bottom of your problem for you Thank you lairey No worries at all; with being totally new to this, and vaping, I really appreciate your advice. I'm using a mini iStick 10w at 5v, and iStick 50w at around 13w. Nano has Mint Chocolate in, so I used the new Aerotank on both. Seems to burn at any higher than 13w on the iStick 50w; really foul if higher, and a shame, as not much vapour or flavour (intend to add more flavour in other mixings anyway, as I like a lot of strong flavour). I'm good with the 24mg shop-bought, so it must be that I may have accidentally added an extra couple of drops of nicotine? Had given bottles a shake, but maybe immediately vaping the Boston Mud Pie wasn't the best thing to do, as it may not have settled. Have just chanced another try, and it may have settled a tiny bit, but I can only take a few draws and the nic is getting a bit much. Maybe if I aim for 20mg, it'll be better, and able to use it freely, rather than little draws occasionally ... the VG 7.2% Nicotine was from Vampire Vape. I don't know if that makes any difference.

Please get some syringes and measure in ml, not drops kittyvape. EVERY dropper will be a slightly different size, so you will never get accurate measurements using drops instead of ml. Apologies if I have misunderstood the above and you did use mls. Did you want to make 24mg juice? As with 33% nic base, that is what you'll have... If you did use drops, it could potentially be significantly stronger than 24mg... Agree 100% with what lairy has said. Thanks igual

Hiya I used the eJuice Me Up calculator, first to make 5ml of Capella Double Chocolate, which I've not tried, then to make 5ml of Capella Boston Mud Pie ... had noticed someone saying they mix that and use it immediately, as the flavour reduces with time, so I tried it out. The nic seems a little strong, and the flavour good but slightly too soft. I used the below amounts. A little worried about the nic sick. Had very bad dose of that when VG 7.2% Nicotine order arrived and the bottle cap had been loose, covering all of the order ... I hadn't realised about toxicity for 10 minutes while cleaning up, as I'd actually ordered normal VG and the company had sent VG Nicotine instead, and I didn't check labels. Feeling a little of that nic sick now, and am surprised, as I was really careful about amounts. Maybe should up mixture to PG 70/VG 30 for flavour too. If amounts below seem right, might it be that not enough flavour drops and ratio just didn't dilute the nic quite enough as well (could feel the nic 'burn' a bit, which I don't in shop bought 24mg juices)? (only 3 weeks into vaping, lol, so apologies for any goofy questions!) 24mg PG 60/VG 40 Nic 1.67 ml (33 drops) 33.4% of total PG 2.25 ml (45 drops) 45% of total VG 0.3 ml (7 drops) 6.6% of total FLAVOUR 0.75 (15 drops) 15% of total

Hi kittyvape I have the aerotank mini 1:1 clone from fasttech and have no problems at all. I have 4 in use which I have had for around 6 months now they are much cheaper than you paid. I think they were less than £6 each.Definitely sounds like a dodgy deal you have had. I recoil mine with single coils and use two chimney stoppers one the right way and one upside down. Only leakage I have had has been user error. Thanks babs I have to entirely own up to user error, eek. Checked online and product is genuine, and I goofed; unscrewed/filled wrongly. Lesson learnt! Glad yours are fine, and will definitely note the aerotank mini clone from fasttech; under £6 is great.

Hi I ordered a mini iStick 10w and a Kanger Aerotank (latter from Amazon for about £13), just to use when the iStick 50w is charging. The mini iStick 10w is great, but the aerotank is dire. I'm used to the Nano on iStick 50w, and never expected the aerotank would be such a disappointment. Wondering if I've got a clone and should claim refund. Unscrewing/rescrewing is dreadful, the airflow thing is jammed, the coil has jammed so badly with the fitment that I can't remove it to replace the coil when needed, and the tank itself comes loose from the base, so filling it is dreadful; the slightest wobble and lose some liquid. The Nano securely had the base and tank connected, but this aerotank is just horrible. I'd ordered a black kanger aerotank mow (emow) clearomiser yesterday too, just thinking it would look great with the black mini iStick, but am dreading if that too is loose/jammed/very difficult to hold liquid while filling. Other orders thankfully great, especially my first Capella flavour (Chocolate Mints), but really wondering what to do about a secure decent glass tank for the mini iStick 10w.

Really there are lots of ways to be very MSE with e-cigs but it's a lot more complex than when I started vaping 3.5 years ago kittyvapeBack then it was a simple case of 'order 3 months equipment from china for the price of one week's stinkies' - I didn't go back to the stinkies for long when I reminded myself of that (I duel fuelled for the first 3 months ) But despite all the hurdles it really helped me to get debt free Yes, it's amazing the range out there now; must be very exciting for you, compared to back then. No reason for stinkies, yes Congratulations on getting debt free!

Congrats on getting into mixing so early into your vaping adventure kittyvape After the initial outlay you'll find yourself saving a bundle on pre made liquids @ukflavours is where I get most things from . I'm a fussy blackcurrant concentrate person and there's is the only one that comes close to one that is sold by a firm that I don't agree with the ethics of their marketing (so won't buy from them). Nuff said. Tis my choice . I got my 1ml syringes from china through the post the other day so if you want a couple just pm me a snail address and I'll post tuesday Jane Thankyou! Yes, looking forward to doing some wizardry and saving money ... nice to be able to find some core flavours to mix. I've ordered the capella double chocolate, boston cream pie and lemon meringue. The blackcurrant sounds lovely; glad you can get the one you can, and totally agree about ethics of places. I always believe in supporting ethical companies too eg bank, electricity. Those companies deserve good support, and always are reliable and positive. Very kind of you to offer about syringes. Really appreciate. Will PM now.

Hi kittyvape I use different nic strength from 6mg up to 12mg and depending what I'm vaping it on have used 18mg even though I tend to stick with 6 or 7 now, for me Iv found the pg/vg makes a massive difference the higher pg you have the more throat hit you'll get ,the vg the smoother it is ,for me I like the vg only because pg gives me a sore throat and I do enjoy a smoother vape . But from reading what a lot of venders do they tend to put high pg in the higher nics as new vapers tend to need that strong throat hit, but not in all juices so your best trying to find out what ratio they are or have a go at mixing your own ,you might find the 24mg is high pg and its that you like so as long as you get juices with higher pg you can move down the nic if you like with no prob I'd think. I would say at the amount you smoke 18mg would be perfect though 24mg is no harm and its what suites you to keep you happy. Thanks @yavape That's great you've found what works for you, and thanks for advice. It's surreal because I'm finding the 24mg is great now, 8 days in ... hardly a tickle on my throat, lol, after initially coughing a lot on tiny 6mg cigarettes. I must be okay with the higher pg, thankfully. Maybe as my body adapts, I'll taste/feel things more. Looking forward to first mixing this coming week, so will definitely bear in mind what you've said. Thanks
