Thanks for the encouragement, i need it , Im not giving up on the giving up.. (Allen Carr??) OK i did, but back on track now.. And while my shortness of breath could be down to allergies etc I had my first fullish nights sleep last night for a week or so after 4 days on the vapes.. Im purposefully avoiding ads for the shiny stuff as i am very well equipped already and currently cleaning and taking stock of the atty's is keeping me busy and my mind occupied. The cat (Newly here last October) is very confused by the clouds of my heavy vg liquids, she sits puzzled by the clouds while she would run off at the slightest whiff of a stinky.. Onwards n upwards eh?

Hello all my lovely vapers, hope all are well and happy.. I fell off the wagon and started enjoying smoking again until earlier this week when i was too short of breath to bloody well sleep.. So ive cleaned out some kit and Im back on the vapes.. Fingers crossed eh Im a lil cheesed that my fave pod/mod Wismec Preva Dna has disappeared by the way side with pods only available at the dodgiest of web shops.. Thankfully my stash of LiQuid and 18650 mods and rba's are still functioning well.. here we go again.... Phil K

Check out the hellvape Destiny RTA, Nice big SINGLE coil deck my monster 3.5mm 16x soft nickle wire coils fit easy.. doddle to wick, cut to deck length trim the end sides down by 1/8 or 1/4 the width and stuff in the holes,(watch a 90 sec utube clip) and the flavour is significantly deeper than from a subtank using a kanger rba with the same juice.. not the 7ml capacity of a subtank but few are these days.. I vape the Ni coil using tc @210c with a soft start and 20-24w starting power on a dna40. bags of deep rich flavour tones i have 'overlooked' when vaping the same juice in a subtank lemo2 or goblin.. - I was happy with my attys.. So be mindful if you do upgrade you may not want to vape your old subtanks again

This very cheap clone was ordered from our favorite far east supplier Quite some time back, Lets just say well over 2 weeks ago and let it go at that In the mean time Im afraid I ordered and received an authentic Zeus X Mesh, While not suitable for a direct comparison it serves as a good reference. www.fasttech.com/p/9693532First of all the listing says its SS, the inner chimney is an ally alloy. So how does it stand up? I cant compare to an original but in an attempt to compare against an authentic Zeus X Mesh i built it 1st using the last of the same juice i have in the meshx tank atm. Unfortunately i must have cut the wicks a tad too short?? and i had a gurgling mess on my hands. So on build #2 i have a different juice so a comparing is a little harder. Build #2 more wick and longer wick in 2x 3.5mm x 16 ni80 @ 0.08ohm ON a dna-40 device @ 210c Starting at 25w Vapes very nicely, nice deep flavour profile, similar to the depth from the mesh x - different juices make the comparison difficult, but all in all not a bad Vape at all. 1 hour into vaping it.. the longer thicker wicks seem to have hampered the gurgling ok , I am enjoying it. 5 hours in and I am still enjoying it, with TC the vape remains cool even if i have a bit of a turbo puff. would i recommend it.. NO not unless you have a lot of o'ring spares.. then it may be worth a punt, its got a good taste and looks the part.. I like the dark shade of the blue on mine a lot.. But and there are a couple of BUTS. #1 A minor point but the air control ring simply spins as if it were on a ball race, so a slight knock or brush can alter the airflow and vape. easily fixed but a niggle.. #2 The deal breaker, On the authentic atty the glass is sealed with a thicker gasket contained within a recess in both the base and top. On this clone the substantial seal is replaced with a flimsy o-rings simply retained by a single inner rim. when dry both top and bottom seals twist with the turn of the glass, as the thread tighten they both stretch buckle and fail. Thankfully a drop of juice is sufficient to lube the seals enough to enable the device to be assembled. My confidence in these seals standing up to numerous openings to rewick/build is not high, and although spares are supplied I suspect these will have a similar life expectancy. The clone stands a mm or 2 taller than the authentic but that may be down to the x-mesh deck in my authentic zeus? will the deck fit on the authentic X-Mesh??? when both tanks are empty or the tickle is too strong to resist i will report back but am not expecting a fit tbh.. over all 7/10 good look good taste, works, but i suspect a design flaw waiting to happen.. If you tend to follow vape trends and would be likely to shelve the atty in 6-8 months anyway then it could be well worth it but if looking for an atty to use today tomorrow and in a years time too then in my opinion its much less likely to be suitable.

Hi, Clones can be a punt, many are fine, but others fail badly. If a close copy and the original build techniques fail, you can try a more generous perhaps longer wick option but if its a fit/tolerance issue?? there is probably little you can do. fwiw i would say i have had something like 80-90% success when taking a punt on a FT clone, the subtank mini clones they sold were/are great the kayfun clone i bought from ft was a pile of steaming brown stuff tho. will keep my digits crossed for the next one to land.

fwiw orders should arrive eventually.. I made a couple of orders in advance of the pandemic that were delayed due to restocking (my bad) They were eventually shipped at the worst time.. Both did eventually arrive, the 2nd was last week.
So if you do order just prepare to be extra patient and all should be good..

If your a bit diy inclined and have a techy bent look for wifi enabled cameras that can stream a rstp feed that you can then record on any NVR (network video recorder) you point at the stream such as a raspberry pi.
the wyze cam is a popular option £30 and you can buy a housing for a tenner or so to mount it extenaly too also check out this option..

if you dont have a knife edge/paint scraper that will squeeze in. Dental floss is strong and can fit into tiny gaps.. tie some around the 510 base wrap round a scredriver handle and pull up as you try to engage the thread

try wedging something between the atty and mod and levering up a tad as you twist again, if the atty bottom is threaded this may allow it to re-engage and screw out.
If its seized in the thread and is spinning the aspect of the mod its screwed into its probably already buggered.
