My brother is looking at vaping again after a long period away from it. He's looking for something simple, reliable and not too expensive. He's needs both a robust small mod (probably separate battery...he should have a charger) and a RTA or RDA that takes stock coils; not too tight a draw.
Thanks for the suggestions John, whilst the Kroma-R looks appealing to me, however I'm a little worried having seen a video review that the interface has too many options for a bit of an ecig-technophobe brother. Adept looks simpler, but internal battery.
Having been very happy with the Eleaf Pico .... I wonder whether THIS might suit him Anyone got any comments on the Melo 4 tank? (or other thoughts)
You can get the mod separately here though: Amazon
So you could maybe grab eg a Zlide tank elsewhere
P.S. On the Kroma-R, I've not messed with any of the advanced settings. The basic default settings are dead simple, and all the coil boxes/wrappings show what the recommended Wattage range is for them.
At the mo I'm just using the 1.6 coils that Perps recommended at 10 Watts. On the lowest airflow setting it's a really nice draw.
P.P.S With all that said, I've now watched a couple of reviews of the Pico and it seems to have at least as many functions as the Kroma-R, but a less clear (to me) set of menus xD
