Last night I found an app that is fab!! Its called 'E-smoker calculator'. But it's not just any type of calculator, oh no! It has an ejuice calculator (which is how I found it - searching for apps) but, and this is the bit I love, it also calculates the amount you've spent on vaping goodies and compares it to what you've saved from the nasties. It gives the break-even date too. So far I have saved -£158.06. And I Know this is a negative number as the app displays it in red, just in case I wasn't aware that I've spent more than I've saved?!!! My break-even date is 27 April IF I don't spend any more? It's brilliant....well I think so anyway!

I have created my first 'all dayer' mix! Courtesy of TPA RY4! So far everything I have created is either kinda crap or kinda okay and would never satisfy me as my regular all dayer/go-to vape. The weak flavoured mixes get an extra does of flavouring which then tends to remove the throat hit, and although I could add more nic juice to boost that, I would then have to add more flavour to compensate for dilution, and then all the calculations would be needed again and then there's the steeping to consider too! The strong flavours are diluted with nic juice, but somewhere along the way the taste first experienced is lost. And then there are just the god-awful flavours which I wouldn't vape anyway! So the TPA RY4 doesn't taste anything like any other RY4 I've tasted BUT it still tastes good! I think I have my flavour a little too weak and I would prefer more but I'm unwilling to add too much more in case I lose the all important TH and have to start over. I can vape this one all day and all night so I'm a happy bunny! Having said all that I have just had a thought whilst writing and I may next time dilute my flavouring, drop for drop, with 48mg nic juice. Assuming drop size is equal I would then have flavouring 50% weaker and would have to add twice as many drops to mixes as normal but with no change to the (24mg) nic level. For different strengths the flavoured nic juice could be adapted for each. This mixing is heavy going and sometimes quite demoralising. I've thought about tipping it all down the sink and ordering pre-mixed several times (Sometimes even thought nasties would be less hassle too - but never did!) but now I feel this RY4 tastes something like I would expect to have bought from a vendor and it has given me great satisfaction!

Hahahahahaha!
Bizarrely I found one at work the other day, which is interesting because I don't/can't vape there (I do carry my riva for a sneaky toilet vape if needed though). Even more strangely I don't normally take that DT out the house as it is attached to a flavour I vape infrequently!!??!!!

Hi Claretlad and a warm welcome... Perpy gave you good advice but i just wanted to add that i find tobacco flavours seem to be stronger and less is needed ...if i read your post correctly and HC recommend 30-40% then i figure this must be a typo on their behalf Hi Claretlad, I agree with Gordy. Although quite new to mixing I have 4 tobacco flavours on the go right now and they're all different strengths. I have 2 each from 2 different vendors (One of which is TPA - 'Tobacco' and 'M-type'). I have learnt to start off with 12 drops per 5ml, which has so far been enough to get the flavour in, but at quite a low level which enables slight changes to be easily noticeable...however, I did this with the 'M-type' and I kid you not - it nearly brought tears to my eyes!!! I had to dilute so many times that in the end it was the equivalent of about 1.5 drops per 5ml. Having said that I tried another mix which I wanted to add caramel to the M-type. I found that the caramel really mutes the M-type and even after 3 drops the M-type is quite weak!??! Also worth remembering is that the majority of people believe that a mix should be left to steep for a few days to a week, which is something I am finding hard to do. I do agree that after a couple of days most of my mixes change although there are one or 2 that don't? Its difficult knowing when to stop adding flavour and guessing if it will change and how it will taste after steeping? It can be a long drawn out process with a lot of trial and error, but practice makes perfect. Oh, and I find writing everything down is essential and I now have a recipe book

After no response from dee ive had a quick look and found this wire:
0.160mm Bare Nickel Chrome Wire (also known as Nichrome Wire / Hot Wire Cutter / Foam Cutter / Heater Wire / Element Wire) Data: approx 53.7 ohms per metre.
Is this the right wire to use as coil on the stardust?

Am I right in thinking that the LT has protective circuitry that negates the need for protected batteries? I am sure I have read several times that the LT has its own protection but can't remember reading about the use of unprotected batteries and can't find the original info?
I only ask as I have recently bought protected batteries, which were advertised as 65mm long, but which don't actually fit the LT. (They do but I can only get about half a turn on the cap and therefore I won't use them) I know there is an o-ring available from FV, which is 2mm thick, but the gap I have is more than 2mm - probs 3 to 4mm!

Hey Mark,
I've now ordered that 18650 parallel box you linked for me, along with the buttons. Also have another 2 batteries on their way...but after vaping on the LT for a little while now I'm actually wondering if I'll be happy with a 3.7v mod? Eeeeek!

What colour is RY4 colour?
I have decided that red will be cherry menthol. Purple will be blackcurrant menthol. Yellow will be lemon menthol. Orange will be my tobacco mixes. That leaves blue, green and black. I wish I liked perique black! Maybe RY4 can remain in the clear one for now?
I think i'm developing an OCD here?!!!!

Are they here yet???? I must warn you Daz I am currently on a spending ban, which like the 10 before it is self-imposed. I am extremely strict(?) and will not buy anything this month....HOWEVER, I like you and to ensure your business remains strong and profitable I am willing to break said ban and invest a little in 1 or 2 (or 7!) of these amazing little devices. My 'would be' cig spending Vs 'Vaping spends' is still massively in the red, but knowing I'll be 'helping you out' a bit , I can take the hit. (There's always next month!) Are pre-orders being taken? Do you expect to have enough coming to cope with high demand?

What is the mesh needed for? Do I need some for the stardust? If so then I'm in (If Gordy is doing a GB?)
