I'll be watching the England match - sucker for punishment, me.
The penalty shoot out had me chewing the sofa cushions...

tcg69 , I only ever make new recipes @ 20 ml, except when it’s a slight tweak of a mix I know well. TBH was just plain curious about this one, I can’t see this number of fruits working with both the custard and the anise flavours, but I hope to be surprised! beedee if you don't want make I can send you 20ml in the post. Thanks, tcg69, much appreciated, but I have 20ml sitting in my draw awaiting steeping then judgement, so my curiosity will be satisfied!

5 Pawns Queenside clone: Got this from ELR. Have reduced to 15% flavour as the 20% is for 70% VG. I had all the concs and it sounds nice.
That does sound rather nice beedee , added to my favs . . . .
Got all those flavours ( subbing the Cap French Vanilla for FVD ) except TPA's Orange Cream.
Doesn't matter how many concentrates you've got, invariably there's one without an equivalent(ish) sub, which you haven't. Ain’t that the truth! Could always sub it with a bit of whatever orange you have and something creamy. After all, you wouldn’t want to have to buy any more concentrates, would you?

Another batch this week, all 20 ml test recipes: 5 Pawns Queenside clone: Got this from ELR. Have reduced to 15% flavour as the 20% is for 70% VG. I had all the concs and it sounds nice. Thai Coco: Second attempt at the coconut rum and lemongrass syrup cocktail Subliminal by Gmix: Also an ELR recipe from here. sounds like a strange mix (Custard, Absinthe and Fruits) but seems very popular. Gins Addiction: Now in it's 3rd version - have been trying to get this mix of blackcurrant, anise, gin, citrus and mint to my liking since tcg69 and Perpetua talked of the original back in January - but no luck so far

beedee if you haven’t already, get yourself a 3D printed condensation plug that fits into the bottom of the tank as this will keep all the muck from getting into the electronics through the buttons and screen below. Next time it happens put it into a bag with covers and tank off, cover it with rice, tie the end up and place in the airing cupboard for a few days. The rice will absorb all the moisture from the BB. Glad to hear it’s now working for you. Thanks, shiny, will try the rice trick if it happens again - makes sense as it I imagine it draws the moisture out where just air drying won't. Do you know of anywhere that sells the plug? Had a look around the web, there's a 3d printer template for one here, and a shop in South Africa sells them but does not do international delivery, also looked into getting it made by a 3d printing firm but that is high quantity and expensive.

Must admit, thebishman, I also get irritated by some people’s tendency to think they know what is best for other people and take every opportunity to tell them about it. I especially dislike that they claim they are doing it out of concern for others. I think they just enjoy feeling smug, and none of us like being smugged on! I usually ask them which bit of research they are basing their opinion on. That usually shuts them up. I call it Smugging the Smuggers.

Just to update, shiny, I messed around a little using the instructions, no luck, left it awhile and it suddenly went back to normal... I wonder if some juice got into the board and has now dried out a little. Have read on the web that in the 70watt version the board is not coated, and there is an awful lot of condensation in BBs.... that it stays OK. If I buy another I will get the one with the DNA board - in this case the extra expense may be worth it. Thanks again for the instructions.
