They are indeed Jerri - all you need to create Custardy loveliness in the one bottle. For my tastes, 25% works well on the both. Thanks. I'll have a proper study of the calculator tomorrow because I can't make head nor tail of it right now. I'm sure plenty have said it already; it is really easy to do, and you'll never look back from making your own

Good on them for trying, although the reality is going to favour those with more crisp notes to grease the path to get their own way I fear.

So do you guys feel your own mixes are better than "premium" store bought juices? I understand that taste is subjective but always wondered if DIY juices have that premium quality or are they just cheap and vapable?. Saying that - I've tried quite a few premium juices that were awful! I feel bit impudent answering this being relativity new to both vaping and mixing and considering the company present on these forums. My aim is to make my own vape that’s better than store bought, the reason I turned to diy was whilst I found nice store bought juice it was always missing something or not quite right for me. begin the journey down a custard rabbit hole.. The aim is better than anything you can buy, its got to be surely? I am at a stage where I'm very close to what I wanted (I've gone and said that it will probably take me another 6 months now!) and my aim is a juice that I love, not mass market I've no intentions in that regards and when you have it where you want it taste wise, and a Brucey bonus it knocks it into the park in regards to price. I look at recipes as a starting point not a finish line, its a tinkering and starting point for me

Yes always use aaec calc. The first mix is 3 week old now and still unvaperble. 50/50 - 3mg mix Nic =.4 ml Pg = 3.6 ml Vg = 5 ml Lime = .4 ml Stevia = .4 ml Cap sugar cookie = .2 ml I've never had this issue and only use nic in juice I make for the missus, Try a small pg/vg mix test if its ok solo, try again pg/vg and your nic (I suspect your nic as you mention the mix is fine without it) If the nic and all else is fine then look at FA's MTS Vape Wizard or TFA's Smooth to get rid of the harshness, I have read people have used white vinegar 1 - 2 drops per 10 ml for the same effect.

It's 4 % inawera lime, 4 % stevia and 2 % cap sugar cookie. I mixed all this first with no Nic till I got the taste I wanted and was happy with, then I added the Nic and my was it harsh it made it unvaperble. But the Nic is fine in my blackjack mix this is what is confusing me. what is the total ML of the mix and how many ML of nic are you using? have you used a calculator to get the right mg's your after? Blackjack is such a strong flavour I wouldn’t use it to test suitability/condition of nic an easier test would be vape pg/vg at same mix then test with pg/vg and nic

I am probably not the best person to give advice on this as I dont really use much nic, how long have you left the mix with nic before trying it? I would suggest a week at least to allow for it all to blend Also what is the PG and VG mix?

So all you successful and very satisfied home eliquid mixers . . . . what would you say are your ' secrets ' to making an enjoyable vape? My top two would have to be patience - especially if you're making dessert, custard type mixes and not being deterred if everything you create doesn't quite hit the spot first time. That's the beauty of DIY you can ' tweak ' to suit your individual tastes. This for me, and probably the hardest part is finding the base mix before going on to tweaking frustration and joy
