Sorry if this has been asked a million times. But is there a list of basic shake and vape recipes for beginners?
I am 0nic so don't need nic but numbers just absolutely baffle me so I'm after something simple I can just mix up cheaply that needs minimal steeping that I can actually vape whilst I attempt to get my head around mixing custards.
I've tried premix heisenberg and pink man and didn't like them so they're out. And I've tried pretty much all t-juices range and wasn't a fan of those either.
I'm assuming fruit types will require minimal steeping? Maybe a simple blueberry or raspberry recipe?
I've looked through some threads and found a few eBay sellers selling PG and VG but there seems to be as many concentrates as their are juices and the more I look the more I confuse myself.
Again apologies if this has been asked a million times.
Any advice is appreciated!

Thanks! So they're just one shot custard concentrates? I don't mind steeping I'll just need something to vape whilst they steep. What percentages should I mix them at?

Yip Jerri one shot, chuck it in with the PG/VG, give it a shake and hide it for a few weeks, the recommended percentages are usually on the same page as the item. Fruits are much quicker to steep yes but to be fair some still need a wee while to blend but no where near as long as custards, if you like Raspberry then I can highly recommend Inawera Raspberry, really potent I mix mine at just 8% on it's own and it's delicious. Capella Orange & Mango is very nice as well, Juicy Peach again good on it's own but blends with others as well if you fancy it. There are lots of one shot concentrates out there and best is to pick what specific flavour you want then perhaps buy a couple of brands of the same flavour and see which one you like best, TFA Raspberry is also good, not near as strong as Inawera and a smoother vape.

Thanks. That's exactly what I'm after something simple I can mix and vape whilst custards steep. I've already got some koolada which I keep it to add to fruity juices. Raspberry is perfect. Will check out chefs vapour.

I'll have a proper study of the calculator tomorrow because I can't make head nor tail of it right now.

Decide in the meantime what ratios of PG/VG you'd like your finished eliquid to be.

What's confusing me is the concentrates. Obviously if I make 10ml I need 7ml vg and 3ml pg but I need to take the concentrate amount out of the pg don't I as they're pg Say the custard if I mixed at 25% that's 7ml vg 2.5ml custard and 0.5ml plain PG to make 10ml liquid that's 70/30. Is that right?

Jerri have you decided to continue vaping then as I see on another of your posts Mods and Atties for sale. Have you tried Castle Long Clone as I think it's superb. If not PM me your address and I'll send you a sample of my 6 week old mix.

I'm sure plenty have said it already; it is really easy to do, and you'll never look back from making your own

If not PM me your address and I'll send you a sample of my 6 week old mix. I've decided to at least give DIY a go. But have also decided to get rid of half my vape gear. I've got four set ups and three sat there empty. So cut it down to two. Use the cash to fund DIY supplies. I figure this way I don't feel frustrated because I've got set ups sat there empty and feel like I've wasted cash buying them. And if it doesn't work out then I can at least say I have it a go. If it does. Well I'm sure it won't be hard to talk myself into buying more gear hahaha Although I'm actually pondering taking the m80 down...

Yes! Spot on Jerri. Thanks! The calculator will do that maths for you Jerri - input the %age of PG/VG you want, and add the flavour with %age, then hit 'generate recipe', and the amounts will be already calculated for you; it will assume that your concentrate will be suspended in PG (as almost all are), so you don't need to factor that in.
