I've got a Riva 1100, one of my batteries have broken so I want to replace it, is a ego 510 battery the same? could I get this?
I use Boge 510 cartomisers if that makes a difference?

Hi everyone, haven't been on here for so long! Thought I would update you all with how it's going, haven't had a fag for 3 months! very happy with myself  Since I've had mine, 4 of my friends have got one because they were so impressed with it. The only problem I am having is I am getting through alot of e-liquid very quickly, I don't know if it is because I have gone from the high nicotine to low nicotine? I seem to be refilling it every couple of hours... Thankyou to everyone for all your help, I'm so glad I got my ecig! |

yes I cleaned it all and then charged it up, still not working!
I contacted the seller asking for advice, really impressed with the customer service, got a reply straight away which said it sounded like a faulty switch and to send it back and it will be replaced.

Thankyou karma I didn't realise you had to clean it. I gave both the batteries a good wipe, one of them still isn't working properly though, I watched a video on how to lift the centre pin so might have a go at doing that, I don't want to break it though!
gordy - It does sometimes light up when I press the button, but only for a second and then will go off even when I am still pressing the button. Other times the light will not come on at all. Or it will come on for a second and then flash three times and turn itself off...

I will have a go at cleaning it first and see if that helps.
had a look at some videos on how to clean it, some of them say to use alcohol? or nail varnish remover?

Hi everyone! Thought I would tell you all how I am getting on. I've been away this week helping out on a school trip, it was really handy having my e-cig with me because I wasn't allowed to smoke infront of the kids, I did sneak of a couple of times to have a proper fag, I have only had four this week though! Still got my blister in my mouth, will go get it checked at the doctors this week I think. I'm having problems with one of my batteries, the button isn't working properly, I thought it might have gone abit low on charge, but I charged it up and it still isn't working  does anybody know what I could try? or shall I send it back? |

Hey everyone! Just wanted to thank you all for your help, I LOVE LOVE LOVE my riva  Since saturday I have only had 3 fags, I met a friend yesterday and had a fag while I was with her, but it tasted horrible, made my chest really hurt and made me feel sick, I much prefer my E-cig! I got some e-liquid in my mouth yesterday and I got a blister, thought I might have had to go to the docs today because it was getting worse but it seems to have gone down today. I'm not sure if it was the e-liquid that caused it though! My boyfriend bought one after having a go with mine, had lots of fun last night trying out all his e-liquid so I might buy some more tonight, my favourite is apple tobacco so deff going to be buying some more of that! |

Hi everybody I bought my riva yesterday, it arrived today, very impressed with the fast delivery! I followed a video on how to fill the cartomizers, and I am now vaping! yey! I have a question though, I must have put about 30 drips of e- liquid into the cartomizer before I thought it looked wet enough, is that too much though? |

Everyone is so nice and helpful on here, thankyou so much for all your answers, its really helped I have no idea how to quote someone so I'm just going to write my questions in one post! I have had a look at all the links, am I right in thinking that cartomizers are the only thing you have to change? how often do you have to change them? I watched a few videos on how to put e-liquid in, it goes in the cartomizer right? Can I fill it up a couple of times? or just once? The drip tip isnt actually used for anything, just a mouthpiece? Low resistence means it produces more vapor? I've had a good look at alot of the e-liquid flavours, I think I will go for a tobacco flavoured one, and then get a pick and mix! Hi everybody! I was recommended this forum on MSE, I have just spent hours reading through it! The e-cig which I have read about the most is The Riva 1100, which I really like the look of. I just wanted to ask some questions first though! Are different e-cigs better for different smokers? I have cut down from 20 a day to 8 a day, and I only smoke very thin rollies now, does that make a difference to which e-cig I should buy? I bought one of those cheap disposable 10 motive e-cigs and have tried that today, i find that it doesnt give me the right kind of 'hit' though, and leaves a really wierd taste in my mouth! am I right in thinking you can get different strengths? Where do you put the E-liquid? I know you can get loads of flavours, but I just want 'Fag' flavour! I smoke amber leaf and mayfair if I can't be bothered to roll, is there anything that taste like that? also what are Atomizers? and Cartomizers? and drip tips? Is there anything else I need to buy? batteries? more cartridges? sorry for all the questions, I'm a little bit confused! Thankyou! |
