Is this still for sale please? Please ignore my question. I was searching Sigelei and didn't realise this was now in the completed sales. Sorry

If you're not planning on going as low as 0.5ohms suebam , Samsung do 30Q's which are 3000 mah. I've replaced the 0.3ohm coil with a Triton 1.8ohm coil and I'm using the Pico at between 9-12 watts so I think the Samsung ones may be fine. I'll see if I can find some thanks.

My new Pico arrived complete with an LG 3000mah 3.7v battery and now I'm looking to buy a few more batteries, along with a charger for them but it's a total minefield out there and I don't have a clue what I'm looking for. I've spent most of the weekend trying to get to grips with what I need but I've come to the conclusion that I just don't and won't ever understand it So, I'd love some help and advice please. I read in another thread that a 25r is a good battery and Torchy is a trusted seller. I also saw a link to another forum where he advertised that you can buy direct from him so this is probably what I'll do but I can't find any 3000mah 25r advertised from him. Am I looking for the totally wrong thing for my Pico or is there an alternative I could go for?

AAEC comes to (International) Rescue once again!! We should have a rep. in every country - oh, wait, we do!! jess in France, reefcat on the Algarve, toots in the Canaries, anyone else I've forgotten!? Mallorca checking in. Izan It's wonderful to know there are people all over the world who are willing to help fellow vapers. Well done to the AAEC forum members. I just need to find a shop or little helper based in Crete, just in case I get stuck when I'm on holiday It would be great if there was a thread with information on shops that people find while they are abroad in resorts or towns, just in case people find themselves in similar situations.

Same with me. To be honest, I don't have a clue what I'm doing I can't seem to find an ideal setting on the Pico for mine. If I set it any higher than 7.5w I get a burnt taste.I've got the Melo III 4ml tank with an EC .3ohm coil but I can't get away with it. My eliquid tastes totally different in it so I'm going to get some Triton 1.8ohm coils to see if I fare any better with them. if your coils are 2.2 ohms, then I would expect around 7-8 watts should be fine, so if they're dry-hitting at 7.5, turn it down a touch... remember, it's not all about "how high can you go", it's about finding the right level for your coil/tank/juice combo that matters I suspect beautycat 's coils are a bit lower ohms than yours, 1.8 or 1.5 ohms, so can usually go a bit higher power on a lower resistance.... I never thought of beautycat having different coils gunjack I've put a Triton 1.8ohm coil in the Melo and I find that much better so I assume sub-ohm vaping is possibly not for me. I'll mix some eliquid with a bit of vg and less flavour in it to see how that is in the melo because the flavour is much better with the Melo and my eliquid my eliquid is far too strong in it.

You can run the 1.8 ohm coils from 8 to 20 watts on 70vg/30pg . But they recommend 13 to 15 watts on the 1.8s. Im guessing .3 ohm coils should be running 30 watts plus . It should be on the side of the coil what they will do. I've now gone up to 12 watts and I'm doing ok on that. Im using all pg liquid at the moment so that could be where I'm going wrong

Teir liquids were stronger than I use so could it be the cotton wicks that create a mild taste? I found this when I was re-wicking protank coils with cotton - I just couldn't take to it. It's probably better for the high-VG juice users, but I find silica better on high-PG juice, I still like my throat-hit I'm with you on that one gunjack. I don't care about creating loads of vapour, as long as I get throat hit

suebam - don't give up on protank-type tanks just yet, in fact, the full-size protank-2 with the airflow base will:- 1. take all those coils you have 2. work and look very nice on the pico fasttech have now got a decent clone of the PT-2, I got some as genuine ones are rarer/expensive now.. www.fasttech.com/products/1460902 decent PT-2 clone, work well, www.fasttech.com/p/1654500 airflow base for the tank about £5.60 for the combo, and still a great combo for high pg juice ( I use 70-80% pg) and "normal" ohm coils GunJack, I'm going to give the full size protank 2 a try so thanks for the advice and the links. I've just swapped the EC 0.3ohm coil in the Melo tank for a Trton 1.8ohm coil and I find it's much better for mouth to lung inhale

Thanks for that chykensa, I know I've been "stuck in a rut" with my kit for a while now and I'm totally out of touch with the technology of it all. I've just taken delivery of the Pico's and I must admit they seem very sturdy bits of kit, but heavier than I expected. I'm sure I'll get used to it very quickly though. I won't get the chance to try it out until later tonight when I get home from work but I will report back on what I think of the Pico/Melo and how I get on with it. No doubt I'll have a host of questions to ask, probably before I even switch it on!! Thanks again to everyone for the great advice. Sue

After doing a huge amount of reading up on internet reviews, I've finally ordered Pico kits with the Melo 4ml tanks for my hubby and myself. If the Pico turns out to be too small for hubby, I'll get him a larger mod and keep both Pico's for me I'm hoping I haven't made a mistake with the Melo tanks though as I think I'm beginning to understand that sub ohm vaping is inhaling straight into the lungs but we both use our ecigs just like you would smoke a cigarette. I've read in another post that the Triton 1.8ohm coils will fit the Melo Mini and I could buy some of them and use the Melo in the same way as I do with my present set up, but I'm now wondering if they will work in the larger Melo tank. Can anyone confirm this please or let me know what options I have? Thanks to everyone who has offered advice so far and if I've made a huge blooper, please feel free to berate me for not listening to you Sue

Hah, my hubby thinks I'm obsessed with them but I don't have anywhere near what you have. I'm also looking to get one for him too so I think I may be confusing what he wants and what I want
