Jsis, do you have any other mods? Just wondering as I've been considering the Lava Tube! There is so much choice I may end up just sticking with my Riva batteries, lol! I think I've made up my mind then someone throws something else into the mix Also, I can't find a code for Mojo republic? Hi Karma Sry for late reply, left this thread and have been elsewhere lol. I don't have any other mods personally as this one does everything I would need it too. The middle link on my 1st post takes you to a mod database where you can see many reviews which have been left for a large number of mods. Lt would maybe be under custom. If I was making the decision myself, I would google lava tube e cig review and also YouTube lavatube e cig. Within doing that you should be able to determine whether or not it's what you want and see how others have taken to it. Other poster is correct, I forwarded it to the discount code forum for Chrissie to put on there too Good luck

10% can be a lot but that gives room to dilute too. Like these guys say you can use a lot more, all depends on you taste buds.
The bulk of what i'll have is 990mls of 16.-mg of unflavoured juice. Then I put it in 10ml bottles as and when I need it and add flavour accordingly.
Has worked for me up till now lol. If at any point I found it too weak I'd just get a small bottle of stronger stuff maybe from Nicbase or whatever the shop is called and amp it up as needed. My usual 18mg mix does seem to be getting a bit heavy on me now. So I'm gonna try toning down a little.

That should have read always mixed it with AG... who did that. Yes that sounds about right macca. If you mix 8 with 8 it gives you 24mg. 48mg /19.2mg=2.5 2.5 x 8ml= 20ml so 12mls other = 19.2mg if you wanted 16mg strength.. 48mg/16mg=3 3 x 8ml=24ml so would be 16mls other to get the strength Wow.. that actually works I'll be doing mine like this... 440ml 36mg VG + 550ml VG = roughly 990ml 16.4mg strength + 10% flavoring will give me somewhere around 15mg finished product... lol

You can mix VG with de-ionised water Giz . . . but if you're using a PG base, it may need little if any dilution I'll be going 50/50 with the PG nic (48mg) I've ordered - I currently get on better with higher nic juices and this will give me just a little less than 24mg after adding flavour. I have Vodka and like good throat hit, so coud add some if nec? I did get a VG only juice (Can't remember where now) and it took ages to soak into the carto when filling. When it did it wasn't a great experience vaping with it because it seemed to take such a long time between vapes to soak back around the coil, so I would prefer to avoid thicker juice. Maybe a tot of vodka? It's either a tot of vodka for the throat hit. Or distilled water will do just to make it thinner I have no problems with VG.. always mixed it with PG AG tho. This new batch will be my first 100% VG PG doesn't agree with me. Euukk

Very well laid out dave. Where you say it depends on where you buy them from. Maybe it has something to do with how long they have already been sat on the shelf before you recieve them. Possiblity! Like fuzzy suggested. If these Riva batteries don't last as long once fully drained. It could be possible that they have had a chance to do this before they arrive to you. So depending on your supplier that could be the difference between good and worse. I'm no expert when it comes to this piece of kit though.

Lol.. I hear what your saying. Nothing wrong with throwing a few idea's around though and leaving room for the next step. I swore by my 510 whilst I had it, don't look back now though. GGTS's are very nice. Just expensive. Would you like to give it to me Chrissie ? I have some very nice homemade juice for swaps lol.. I should be on campermans thread!

I'm surprised you all haven't got tired off your Riva's yet. I used to own a titan and it was the same process of parts failing, tacky build, and generally not as much life expectancy as what you'd tend to expect from it. The main thing I disliked with it was the batteries at best usually only lasted a couple of months most before they went bad, and replacements for me at that were very expensive. Especially when they were always consistantly on charge and didnt last long. I'm not suggesting for any one to do this but it's worth a thought when you next run out of equipment and are deciding whether to renew or re-buy. The Don, a pretty cheap entry level big battery mod has excellent reviews and is a fully mechanical PV. www.mojurepublic.com/cart.phpThis link above shows how cheap you could pick a full kit up for, with a 10% discount added to it. The link below is a review site, where you can also see reviews and prices for many others too. www.ecigarette-mods.com/megalodon/And a video review The gr8 thing with the don is, it's cheap. Fully mechanical. Looks and works great. Fully adjustable throw. Pocket Friendly. Multi voltige - Accepts many different types of batteries, i.e, 18350, 18650, 2x cr123a for 6v and custom 5v. Though I just use LR carto's to simulate the same affect at 3.7v with a 18350 800mah in mini mode. Batteries can be had for £6 for 2 and cheaper still elsewhere. It accepts loads of different types of atty/carto. Ego/Map/501 or even 901/801 with alternate adapter. And in all honesty it should last you a lifetime. Once you have the intial kit and charger. In the long run everything else then works out cheaper too. All you need to renew is, batteries @ £6 for 2.(6months to a year) Juice, attys/cartys and drip tips. Like said i'm not suggesting for anyone to buy this, but it's great compitition to any standard kit. Especially if you can see yourself vaping for more than a year or so. I would've also consdered getting an empire mod. But the darn things are just never available in stock! Just my 2 cents worth. I like the freedom of not being stuck to just one brand and supply list. And The Don for me eradicates that There's no repairing or tampering I ever need to do. Just a little polish now and again to make it look like new.

The information was from my own experience. I don't neccersarily remove the cart from my minidon before I top it up. I do it all with it still connected. When I first got them I did this, went to vape, and there was nothing. I thought somehow I'd managed to break a fully mechanical vaping device as I had fresh battery and new cart on. On taking the cart off there was a pool of liquid within the adapther. I realised my mistake and it hasn't happened since. I have a friend who buys bits off me too and he had it happen to more than a few of them. I explained what he was doing wrong and we have both been fine since. It's more user error/clumsiness than anything wrong with the actual product. The best procedure to follow when topping up, is to just keep the device angled. This way the juice has time to absorb into the fabric rather than sneak itself down the middle hole. Slow and steady wins the race

I think the normal way to verify would be whether you see a wire coming from the bottom which goes back down the middle hole. On verts there is a wire visable. Headin back to where it needs to be from top of coil. On horiz'z its already there so you don't see it. If that makes sense
