Karma - totally... i changed 3 times tonight already.. was on the G&S and changed over to the winson when i opened a bottle of wine, just seemed to work better.... the Mom and Pop RYO tasted great with a good ale, but personally thought it was pretty rank when i first opened it and had it with a cup of tea.... always thought of smoking as a ball and chain round my ankle.. now its a hobby, and safe!! albeit potentially an expensive ne.. but cheaper than the cigs though by far!!

and, kind of off topic, one liquid i bought i really didn't like when i tried it at home. but when i took it to the pub and used it with some good old sussex ale it took on a whole different 'taste' and they really complimented each other.

to be honest, and i haven't been doing this long at all, it actually quite often ends up being a conversation starter with people in the pub....

I live smack bang in the middle of the west sussex countryside and have about 5 or 6 pubs in the locality that i visit regularly ( 2 being proper locals ).... no issues from any of the staff, and unless i know them (staff) i do ask before 'whipping it out'... you do get the occasional funny look, but most people that live in the countryside look a bit funny anyway, so i don't take much notice.
although i do tend to avoid doing it around people that are eating or have kids with them, as the vast majority of people haven't even got a clue what we are doing, let alone understanding the lack of passive health implications.

those kit bags look like something i'm going to need to investigate... bit big for a pocket though. and along with iPhone and various other necessities when leaving the house, that can mean only one thing .... getting into Man-Bag territory! aaahh! not sure i'm ready for that yet....
however, if Louis Vuitton made one, it might help me get over my metrosexuality issues ( errr... there's a kind of irony in there isn't there really? )

not joking around but on the very few occasions i get the urge i find that standing in close proximity to someone who has just had a cig puts me right off again ( i.e the stink )
especially noticeable when they walk into the pub from the 'smoking hut' for instance

cool, i'm guessing most people just ditch the rubber washer and use these? i've just been using the regular white ring so far... does it make for a better smoke??
