davies007 don't feel bad, that's a perfectly good little MTL set up. I had that for a good while. The flavour is top notch. I fell in with a crowd of bad boys and they turned me to the dark side, all of a sudden things started to get 'spensive and ever so slightly cumulo-nimbus.

Ah well, never mind. A little harsh there djs loads of companies give away freebies or discounted goods to get footfall or publicity. Is this so different? Plus that was a big assed advert on TV last night which should get lots more folk thinking about giving up the ash. Plus they pulled a fast one on the NHS Nazis and the NRT lobbyists by getting potential prescribes onto better stuff before they bring out the overpriced BAT inhalators.

From the link above:
"Thousands of smokers will receive free electronic cigarettes in time for New Year. The NHS plans to offer the devices on prescription during 2016, following Public Health England (PHE) reporting that electronic cigarettes are 95 per cent less harmful than tobacco. Stealing a march on the NHS, e-cigarette brand VIP will provide 10,000 vaping starter kits as part of a new initiative - the first of its kind - which will launch on ITV1 tonight [Wednesday 9 December 2015]."
"The Great VIP Giveaway will launch with a series of teaser trailers from Friday 4 December, with the official advert airing on ITV1 on Wednesday 9 December after the 9pm watershed. Viewers will be given a special code - the first 10,000 new customers to redeem the code on VIP's website will receive free vaping kits, worth £29.99 each."
That explains why I cant find a copy of it on you tube et al.

This one last night was the first ever airing on UK TV. It was defo a vape device with a refillable tank and there was vapour. I didn't dream it honest. Certainly NOT NRT. I found a link here www.prnewswire.com/news-releases/vaping-brand-supports-public-health-england-with-national-initiative-561108001.html but I can't find the actual ad. There was a cheesy, almost 007 feel to it which didn't inspire much but it's a start. My point is, this time of year people are looking to drop the stinkies, if just percentage are convinced by a big TV ad to try e-cigs then that will lead on to fewer cancer stick consumers. This can only be a good thing surely?

catface26This was brand new and a bit polished, apparently it's VIPs effort to cash in on the New Year Resolution quitter. With the new "endorsement" by the NHS, I don't think the health Nazis are going to get a chance to ban e-cig ads anymore. It will look like they want people not to quit. Or that will be the argument used against them.

Did any one else see the new e-cig advert in between Coronation Street last night? I only caught the last bit of it but it was a pretty big budget affair. The device looked a bit like an Evod with a battery, tank and replaceable coil. And there were scenes of people using it. Oh the humanity! In my defence, the missus was watching Corrie which was why I wasn't paying much attention to the idiot box and missed most of the ad. I imagine the anti-smoking crowd will be all over it like ugly on a moose today. Tease-smiley

conan87 One new style of rebuildable which I am really loving right now is the Aqua FX from Footoon. allaboute-cigarettes.proboards.com/thread/59594/aqua-fx-footoon-hd-slideshowIt has a vertical coil in a clever ceramic cradle set up which looks fiddly but is the easiest and most reliable build I have found yet. You can coil it to any ohm value you like. The genuine article is a bit pricy still but not silly and there are clones available, I love mine. The other tank I use all the time is a Uwell Crown but I only got an RBA for it last night and can't comment on rebuilding it.
