Today the postie delivered the Aspire Cleito 0.4 ohm T C. SS coils, and my first impression is, i tried first on normal Watt option. the Taste is quite a lot better than the 0.4 Clapton coils, and the amount of vapour is the same as the Clapton 0.4. i've put through two tanks of juice, it was for the TC mode i bought them for, now i did have problems with the Cleito from over heating with the clapton coils, and as it was down to the chimney/coil assembly that wasn't getting rid of heat quick enough, and so i thought the TC coil wouldn't work properly because of the heat, so it was finger crossed time, waiting for the tank to cool down was driving me mad, i hate waiting, all i can say is, i don't know what Aspire has changed besides the wire but it's not over heating any more, still a load of vapour, and great taste, i just chain vaped a tank on 400f and it never spat back, it was warmish to touch but no leaking through the air holes and taste was the same at the end as it was from the first draw. for those who never owned a Cleito, Aspire provide a rubber heat dispenser that fits on the top of the tank to stop the lips from burning, it don't actual burn the lips but it hurts and takes some of the pleasure of kissing my vaping gear every morning/evening, like we all do it does seem so far they have sorted it, my fingers are still crossed but so far?

i'm more concerned about bacteria and dust contaminating the liquid by leaving the container open..

I have heard that leaving the caps off called "breathing" should not be done for more than about 12 hours as it can affect the flavour, best to just leave them in a dark/cool place for about 7 to 14 days, maybe give them a vigorous shake halfway through to assist the process. I heard the same thing, but for a different reason. According to RiP Trippers, after 12 hours the nicotine will start to deteriorate.

i've always referred to steeping as infusion, i use the ultrasonic cleaner method to start the infusion process, i use a sealed mason jar at 70c for a couple of hours, i could be wrong but by sealing the jar creates pressure inside the jar which helps infusion without eroding the taste, this is followed up by giving a good shake, this goes on for about a week depending on what flavours i'm infusing..

i use 50/50 for sub ohm without any leaks, i use the Aspire Cleito using 0.4 coil or Aspire Triton 2 with the 0.5 coil at around 40 watts, it's a better flavour using 50/50 than the 70/30 mix, i'm not into cloud chasing anyway.. i think the answer is suck it and see, it's a personal choice, much the same as what tank you use what flavours you prefer..

does anyone know if the coils can be cleaned? and how long the coil will last? thank you I'm still on the original coil. Had quite a few tank fills through it now and it's showing no signs of deterioration. well the coils came yesterday and so far a big thumbs up, flavour is enhanced and it also vapes cooler..

does anyone know if the coils can be cleaned? and how long the coil will last? thank you I've used a ceramic wick, but a different ceramic and it came out white as snow after a soak in isopropyl alcohol. The limiting factor might be the cotton wool. Thanks Monty, well i ordered some, so should be here in a couple of days, i'm going to use them in a triton2 tank rather than buy their tank, i'm not keen on bottom fill, fingers crossed they can be cleaned ..
