Took 5 years and a lot of talk to get my OH to agree to getting this one, our last dog was 13 when she went broke our hearts and a no more dogs policy was my OH answer. It's so hard when you lose a pet, they become family members.

Shame as i have a mini i couldn't get on with,it would not stop gurgling,MOT pal The wife uses Mini's, how much do you want for it ? I have had so many freebies and great advice from people on this forum that it wouldn't seem right to charge you,it's yours if you want it,besides we're all Leeds aren't we,MOT.I also have about a half dozen 1.8 coils if you want them but a couple have been for about 5 minutes each,i used them to try and stop the gurgling in case it was a faulty coil so they are essentially new.PM your address and i will post them to you as soon as i can.

They know when it was bought as i had to register it with them and give the serial numbers and model so even though it is on there system they still wanted me to tell them the date it was bought,i only had the credit card bill with the date on when purchased as i no longer have access to my old e-mails where the invoice was sent.

They are covering their arses that has caused the fault with the possible £119 charge if is was something that the machine owner has done. However it sounds that in your Mum's case it is not. It may be possible that whilst the repair & parts costs are covered under the warranty the call out charge is not. You really need to read the warranty to establish what is covered. Even then I'd think you have a good case to argue against a call out charge. Another possibility is to go to the Citizens Advice Bureau and ask what you Mum's position is. You don't say what make your Mum's machine is but for instance Hoover's guarantee cover the call out, parts & labour see here : service.hoover.co.uk/repair-terms/Good luck! It's a Candy washer/dryer,when i rung them they answered the phone as Hoover Candy. The call ou charge is about £59

My mum bought a washer/drier 9 months ago,the retainer spring clip that holds the rubber seal to the drum has come away so the machine is not useable at the mo,i phoned the company up and explained the situation, they said they will send an engineer Friday but they may have to charge £119.00 for the repair. It came with a 1 year parts and labour warranty so i don't understand what the charge is for. What's the best way to argue the charge/
