Weird. I had exactly the same idea. Love the 1550p - bought an extra Boro when I bought my SXK Billet Box...
Check out the SXK Insider and Exocet clones...

Well we may not vape the same, but I like 7-8 wraps 27g, 2.5mm, slightly spaced, at about 12-13 watts. I like a cool vape though, I use TC about 225°C Ah ok i dont do tc. No probs I use that build in wattage mode - just mentioned TC as a guide to the temp I vape at...

Got any 27g? That's the sweet spot between surface area and heat capacity... Yeah im sure thats what i put in it. What build do you prefer? Well we may not vape the same, but I like 7-8 wraps 27g, 2.5mm, slightly spaced, at about 12-13 watts. I like a cool vape though, I use TC about 225°C

You wont go back to that weirdy beardy nerd squonk stuff after dipping your wick with a kayfun v5 Lol trust me...im a squonk lover mate. The kf5 isnt as good as my squonk set ups. However, it IS a great RTA. I need to experiment more. I think an open coil with thicker wire will be better. Oh...and 35w is not good in w mode lol Got any 27g? That's the sweet spot between surface area and heat capacity...

Has anyone done a comparison between the V3 mini PLUS and the Kayfun V5. I like a tightish MTL draw and this has put me off the K5 even though you can get the air reducing adaptor from Creme de Vape The mini is an exceptional MTL vape, totally tuneable. The KF5, out of the box, is a restricted lung hit. I have the reducers, and use reducers in the Cthulhu MTL. For a good MTL, it's more the increase in air velocity than the the reduction in volume that makes them work - so reducers do work. So I have high hopes when my latest KF5 turns up

I've just ordered one of these. Had two authentics - let them go because I was scared to take them out. Had a brief sojourn with the Rose 3, but missed the KF5. My girlfriend had a similar thing with the V3 mini - had two unnamed clones, few little niggles with them. Bought her an SXK last month - amazing quality! Got a Billet Box clone recently, SXK are producing amazing stuff at the moment

In your original post, did you mean to put 60/40 PG/VG? If so, they have increased the VG by moving to 50/50...
Do they do concentrate? If you went DIY you could dial in your own ratio, maybe even play with aqueous VG...

Having just got an authentic, I am selling this Coppervape clone. They are remarkably close and vape identically. Parts are interchangeable. Coppervape even cloned the spring wire AFC control - which I have upgraded to slightly stiffer wire supplied by Eden. Original notched drip tips included. Plus a dainty little one I found that has a wider bore and nice tight o-ring that works with the juice control RRP: £28 Looking for £17.50, PayPal G&S, Royal Mail 2nd, Signed. Would swap for an SXK Kayfun 5

I bought the same for my other half for her KF Mini V3. They are great. If you have the CT version you have to build particular resistances to get different wattage thresholds. I build 1.4 ohm to get 15w They are slick... Been trying to find a 16mm for an Origen Tiny Tank. I know they exist, I think the original I just were 16.5mm There's a GP Piccolo, but that's a bit pricey... (Not my pic)

Thanks, amended post to reflect. Further bad news, V1 clone doesn't have a squonk pin, the way it's made the the 510 positive pin doesn't protrude into the deck. The V1 came as squonk and non-squonk versions. I am only aware of a clone of the non-squonk

except it looks like this inside now... it's surprising how it all mounts up? I do also have an overflow cupboard on the landing of 'spares and unopened...' Surprised you Billet Box ever gets to see the inside of your cupboard ;-)
