All wire has some resistance. But most wires have very very very low resistance. The stuff we normally buy is special wire for heater elements specifically designed to have resistanve.
What do you need it for?

The Penelope I'd think Spike, it uses both res and non res wire to make the coil . . . as does the Odysseus and some vapers use it for recoiling their Vivi Nova's as well. Iam going to do a Vivi Nova head sometime over the next week,just got to decide which wick and wire,think I read somewhere its good to double up one leg to stop the rubber grommet burning
