With their past history Smoktech will have to hit at least revision 17 before they iron out all the bugs (maybe). I really hope Provari don't go variable wattage, why complicate something that works perfectly well as is ? The other fact of the matter is that you will not lose money on a Provari, buy one and use it and if you don't like it you can sell it on, bet you keep it if you do though

(if thats what you desire), but as said, every juice has a sweetspot and its super easy to adjust a voltage. Sure its handy to be able to slap a piece of wire on a genny /penny and get the same heat regardless, but if its a particularly high resistance coil your battery will be flat before you can say charger.

Thanks for the suggestions and your feedback.
I am not into buying and selling. I buy what suits me and if I don't like it, I put it away to try again at a later date, or I give it away. This is the reason that I am careful with what I buy and ask for advice before I do so.
At the moment on this thread we appear to have 11 for and 7 against Provari. Interesting.
Those that have them swear by them. Those against possibly do not have them but are happy with what they do have.
So, on the up side, the Provari is reliable. On the downside, it is over priced.
The Lobey jury is still out.

Sorry but how can any device thats as reliable and long lived as the Provari be considered overpriced ? Its the cost of a few packs of cigarettes, same as anything in our vaping arsenils and all we had to show for our money previously was ash and poor health.

over priced ?? no way !! bought my first for £150 imported with 3 batteries over a year go....used everyday and could still sell if for £100
lavatube bought for £40 kept for 2 months ...button misfired so ended up giving it away ...not a sound investment
at the end of the day we can only give you advice ...if you choose not to take it then thats fair enough

After spending £70+ a week on ciggies . . . a Provari seems very good value to me, given the use I get from them.

Perhaps I did not say that as well as I should have.
Yes the Provari seems to be good and reliable, but I (and many others on review videos) cannot understand why we should have to pay such a lot of money for a name. Will I really notice a great difference between that and my 23 quid Twist?
And, for me anyways, it is not a case of just buying "a provari". There is all the other bits that I will need because I do not already have the batteries, chargers, etc. Probably the best part of 200 quid.
I will be a very unhappy bunny if I spend that kind of dosh on something that turns out to be a shiney designer label.
But, the great and the good have spoken, so Provari it is.
Now, where is the best place to go for one, remembering that I will need the whole caboodle?

Lobey, a decent charger and batteries will see you ok never mind which mod you buy, so probably shouldn't be factored into the cost!

Lobey-don't buy one because we all like them, if you are not 100% sure then you should do what you think is best. Every poster here that likes them (like myself) are really content and are happy with what we have paid as I for one see it as an investment, 6/7/8 Twists later, my Provari will still be vaping away and proforming well. Karma is right, a charger and batteries will be needed with whatever mod you buy, so the cost of them need not come into it. If you are concerned, wait and see if you can get to try one somewhere

Lobey You won't regret it. I loves my one It just works and works and works and works. If only I could find a carto / tank / atomiser / rebuildable that works as reliably from the moment you pick it up to the moment you put it down.

It can be frightening looking at the cost............ but look at it this way, its an investment and will last practically forever, its almost indestructable Batteries, yes are a bit pricey too, but given the fact that they will last on average a year and if you have 2 or 3 and a decent charger, you wont have to buy more for approx 3yrs Saving money all the way

Okay, thanks for all of that.
One (hopefully last) question.
What adaptor, if any, will I need for the Provari to run my Clearomisers with it? I think it will take my Mini Nova tank, my genesis and my Buds without any adaptors.
