Hello piper 1. Nice photos of mvp. Please help, because my mvp has been fried, as well, so i can't make out the name of the upper left corner chip (q1) from the photo number 1. Could you please tell me, what is the exact name of that chip? Thanks in advance.

Hi gomiletina I think the MVP piper1 (look along the boxes above the message box, 4th from right has @, click and begin to type members name and choose from drop down box, this "Tags" that member) took apart was an MVP1, do you have the MVP2, as it may be different? Are you sure you've Fried the chip??

#1 THANK YOU OP for posting this as when I searched this problem out, it directed me here so I knew what to look for.
For what it's worth, I found a shortcut I figured I would share as on my 1st mvp 2.0 I striggled getting the button back in. Sooo, just take off the bottom 4 screws by the charging ports. Using a VERY flat small screw driver or knife, carefully pry the glass up over the lcd display. It wont break, just start at one end you can get into, and pry up. Then the 2 buttons will just fall out. Then just slide out that end, and remove the 3 screws mentioned by OP, and solder port as mentioned. Slide back in, place buttons back, then press glass back down, there will be enough sticky swiggle to readhere itself. Viola~ all done in about 10 minutes.
