Hi mixers! I have done a few batches before but they did not turn out the way I was hoping. So I figured I would give it a shot again. Now I am looking at making my own American Red Tobbacco, I have all the ingredients. I am using 54mg platinum ice nic with PG dilutent. I want to use an android app calculator but I am puzzled on what to put in the Flavorings percentage box?. The app I am using is the one with the red circle [/img] [/img] If someone could let me know what I should be putting in here to get the correct "drops" calculation?. I am really eager to get a batch made up tonight as I have a night to myself for the first time in a long time. Many Thanks

Hi jake My understanding with tobacco flavours less is definitely more depending on the brand of flavouring used, as some are very potent and only need 1 or 2% per mix. Remember you can always add more I'm sure someone more knowledgable will be along soon so it might help to know what brand/type of flavourings you have.

It is Totally Wicked
"Red Label Tobacco Concentrate" American Red Tobacco.
Cant post on the TW forum as I was banned for saying one of their products was bad (faulty infact!) There not the best to take ANY form of criticism.

Ah ok. Had a look at their tobacco concentrates and they have a PDF mixing guide which you can download with suggested amounts for flavouring - for 11ml of 24mg eliquid they recommend 10 parts (5ml) 54mg nic, 7 parts (3.5 ml) flavour and 5 parts (2.5ml) dilutant - not really sure thats much help tbh, sorry

Hi Jake, I actually went to puffin peace (tw vendor) today and purchased the very same american red tobacco lol, Anyway i find the best thing to do is to put a drop in 1 ml and put in in some hot water for 30 mins and vape it, if its to weak re do it and another drop keep doing it till you get it right, For 1/2 drops obviousley go to 2ml and add double drops plus 1 you will be pretty close when you get to 1/2 drops, I have been vaping it today at 2 1/2 drops and it seems strong at that, If you need percentages you can work it out easily by counting drops per ml, I think if i can recall the tw droppers have 33 drops per ml making each drop 3% of a ml almost exacly, Happy vaping and gl

I don't use any tobacco concentrates Jake, so can't be of much help to you.
Have you tasted a drop to see how intense the flavouring is?

Nope not yet. I love the flavour so going for a 10ml mix. Might try a 1ml tester but I think my 510 dripping atty is not so good to use anymore as it's been abused with many flavours =/
Sent from my GS3 using Proboards app.

Just going to give what you suggested a shot with the 1ml sample using the hot water to speed the mixing up. If it goes well I will do a 10ml mix.
My maths is not the best in the world so I was hoping there was a excell document or something that has multiple calculators pre-set out or something. Will report back in a hour or so with the initial result.

I use a 50/50 base mix i already mixed @12% put 35 drops in a 5 ml bottle this = 1ml from my dropeer bottle i store it in , then just add the flavour drops so my drops tbh are not really percentage based , If i was to make 10 ml and 3 drops was good in 1 ml i would just put 30 drops in tbh it takes no time at all drops are pretty accurate too much to my surprise,
