Hi.
I have been thinking about vaping for a while and seeing the growing number of my friends who love it I have made the decision to give it a go!
I currently smoke about 20 a day of B&H Gold Superkings
I want to buy the best kit that will last me a while and a good quality one.
There seems to be so much choice on the market that it is very bewildering to a newbie like me. I need it spelt out in simple terms for me as well as some of this e-cigarette language if baffling!!
I want 2 x batteries and the juice to be as close to benson and hedges gold as possible to at least start with.
Please help!! Many thanks.

Well done on your decision to give it a go, I'm sure you'll love it when you find the right equipment and particularly the right juice. As far as the juice goes, taste is subjective and I can't get on with tobacco tasting ones....I'm sure someone will be able to help on that score though. IMHO the best kit to start with is the Riva 1100. Vapeescape is a good trusted vendor.

Thanks padiho
I was just looking at the site you said as I saw it recommended on other threads here.
Is the riva 1100 better than the vision 1000? I was just looking at the two and can't really understand the differences (I am a complete newbie to this!)

Hi Divadee, and welcome to the forum! I'm sure you will get many other replies to this, but the kit of choice at the moment seems to be this - www.vapeescape.co.uk/the-ve-riva-1100-deluxe-kit~151 - Vape Escape are a great company to deal with, and are highly rated on this forum and others. The kit gives you two batteries, and also a choice of juice delivery (clearomiser and cartomiser). You can then order a juice of your choice from the same company to save on postage. VE's juices are all good, but the suggestion is to use the small sampler bottles until you find something that you really like, and then you can buy it in a bigger quantity. www.vapeescape.co.uk/5ml-samplers-%2818mg%29~368 Something like the Flue Cured or Virginia might be worth a go, but bear in mind that a great many of us use non-tobacco juices, so try a menthol and something a bit fruity or with a dessert taste - for £2.50 you have nothing to lose! Once you have found something you like, you can then have a look through the list of other vendors and try some other flavours according to taste. Here's a link to the Vendor List in this forum - allaboute-cigarettes.proboards.com/thread/2/cigarette-liquid-vendors-discount-codesAbove all, if you have any questions at all, please don't hesitate to ask - we're here to help! Here's just one example of a satisfied customer who bought the Riva kit - allaboute-cigarettes.proboards.com/thread/19361/hello - read the whole thread, and you'll get an idea of the kit and its success! Hope this helps! Andy

I was just looking at the two and can't really understand the differences (I am a complete newbie to this!) I have had the Riva kit for almost 9 months and no problems. I personally think this will be more than adequate for your new adventure. It will last you a good days vaping, is uncomplicated ( which lets face it when new to all of this that's important ) and is reliable. The only thing I added was a mains plug for charging which can also be bought on Vapeescape.

Can someone explain the clearomisers and cartomisers to me!! Sorry for being so dumb! Lol
I have looked at my friends e-cig and she has the battery at the bottom and then like a clear tube that the liquid goes in and then the end that she puffs on (sorry for the basics!)
Can someone explain all the separate components for me so I know what to buy in future. Obviously the battery bit I get (even I'm not that silly!). It's the rest of the terminology that I get lost on.

Welcome Divadee, well done for getting into vaping you won't regret it. The cartomiser is a small solid object that if full of wadding, you drip your liquid into it slowly until it has absorbed all the liquid and is really wet on top, you attach this to your Riva with a drip tip(mouth piece) and your ready to vape. The clearomiser is as the name says, it is a clear container that you fill with liquid, the good thing about these are that you can see how much liquid is left and you can gauge how much liquid you are using , with the cartomiser you cant, experience will tell you when you need to fill it again. There are some videos which will show you these methods on the beginners thread, sorry I cannot post links.

Oops, just remembered that I missed out labelling the cone - it's the bit to the right of the clearomiser & is screwed onto the battery over a cartomiser just to make it more streamline The drip tip is used with the cartomisers (instead of replacing the white bung), to make them more comfortable on the mouth.

Hi divadee and welcome looks like you have good information on kits already ,the closest ive found to B&H has been bentley and hodges by puffin eliquids www.puffin-eliquid.com/b-h-18mg-medium-10ml.html or hangsen gold & silver available at quite a few vendors, but its all down to our personal taste buds really
