We had a bit of a nasty wiff in our house a few months ago, every time I came down early to go to work it was there. I found out it was the drain outside, i lifted the manhole cover in my driveway and saw it was blocked with bloody toilet paper and dirty water and sh*t. I lowered the wifed down the hole to clean it....naa just kidding I used an old brush and got the paper out then filled the bath with water and then eptied it and let it clean out the pipes I then flushed the bog and hey presto no more nasty wiffs.

Untracked wiffs are extremely annoying Tyne, glad you got yours sorted . . . one house I lived in, because it was on a corner and we had 8 manhole covers down the sideway into the front garden as it was a main thingum, they were forever getting blocked up with people flushing j cloths down the loo's. I bought my ex a set of rods, job down.

You do Scylla! A kitchen and all it contains is a necessary evil to me . . . I'd far rather have a new mod, than a new fridge . . . but a Provari won't keep much cold. I will of course post pictures of my new appliance in situ.

Lol Collie!! Fridge ordered from JL this morning, awaiting on a delivery date, fortunately the kaput one is still keeping Sammy's food chilled, although the whiff is still there, but doesn't seem quite so pungent, maybe I'm becoming acclimatised to it. ??? This the incredibly dull white box I've ordered . . . .

Perps you've not got a bag of potatoes somewhere? I had a bad smell in my kitchen a while back, searched high and low, cleaned the bin thoroughly, cleaned the fridge out, cupboards out. Finally realised that there was a bag of forgotten potatoes at the bottom of my veg rack, well hidden under a few clean tea towels! LOL

Lol Dee! No, no spuds pupating in the depths of a cupboard either. Would we have been so tuned into these smells prior to vaping I wonder.

As a coincidence, and I swear this happened today, Wor Lass (aka Mrs Tosh) had been complaining for a short while that there was a strange smell coming from my office. I explained that, that was probably me, and it's just how I am! Anyway, today she accused me of putting my dirty clothes back into the wardrobe rather than in the wash basket ( ), and after a bit of rooting around, from the back of a wardrobe (my clothes are kept in the office, since there's no room in the bedroom since all her clothes and truck loads of shoes are there) she pulled out a bag of seedling onions that I purchased a few months ago, and stuck in the wardrobe until I got around to planting them. They did smell! Perpy, do you want me to send Wor Lass round to your house? She's got a keen nose and is a bit like Sherlock Holmes.

Tosh! Seed Onions!! These funny smells are contagious! A few months ago now, I had a 'smell' in the car, which isn't the tidiest I'll freely admit . . . hunted high and low for the source and again blamed Sammy as being the culprit. Anyways, a few weeks later again, still plagued by the smell, I delved deeper under the seats and found to my horror a pack of ready cooked chicken that must have fallen out of a bag of shopping . . . 2 months previously! Thank goodness it was securely sealed as the liquid goo honked as it was . . . . I'd have had to have scrapped the car if the packaging had burst.

Haha, Robyn dropped a happy meal in the car a few weeks ago and Mike was cleaning it out and found a minging green glob under my seat when he hoovered lol. Luckily it didn't smell was probably just a bit if a health hazard!
