I just finished mixing two 10 ml of liquid one in cola flavour and another in Ry4. Shall I leave the bottle open to step or better to be closed ? I have searched alot and read but it seems that there is no way round as some say better to leave open other better to leave close .

Personally I have not noticed any difference between on and off. Just open the bottle and squeeze gently a few times to change the air inside, replace cap and shake gently for 20 seconds every day. Store in a cool dark place like a cupboard or drawer, but away from pets and children for safety's sake.
Depending on the type of flavour, 1 week minimum for steeping, although they will improve further with additional time.

Ok I will let them close then and shake them . I just make them in Glass bottles sa it what I found to buy in here so next time I order some empty bottles as well .

I open them and take the droppers out for maximum exposure and leave on a windowsill. No little people or pets here though.

Stoppers and tops on here . . . tucked away in a cupboard, with an occasional shake when I remember for me Melita.

I don't think it makes much difference what you do myself, more important to leave it to steep depending on the flavour.

I don't think a windowsill is a good idea.  Sunlight and high heat are both bad for eliquid.

As a newbie mixer my current steeping method has involved carrying it around with me and testing regularly, about 3ml per day.  I did discover that this method isn't the best 

Now I do several bottles of the same flavour so I can have one on the go and have another ready when it's finished.  In a few weeks time I'll always have some steeped juice in the cupboard.

I don't leave the caps off as I know I'll either knock them over or lose the lid.

In my opinion and from what I can think is that to leave the bottle empty it will let the smell /flavour to go out . I did used a Cola (only 4% I used) flavour which when I opened it I could smell it is very strong ,so if ever I have to keep off the lid all the smell will get out and most probably the taste won't be the same best is I will make 2 samples next time and leave one open and one closed and leave them to step and see which one vape best

Time is the key to steeping in my experience. Leave the top on and put them in a drawer and forget about them for a couple of weeks

Well the cola mix is very strong as when I open the bottle it have really big smell hope it will be good

Oh, go on, melitahams, you know you want to!! And after all, a little bit isn't going to matter. If it's not a tobacco or sweet dessert flavour, it'll probably be more than half-decent by now anyway!

I just put some in a clearomizer but till now I 'm not tasting any cola yet could be that the wick is still with  the previous liquid even if I had empty it. Or I have to add more flavour as I only used  4%. I will finish all what I filled now then, or I refill it again or use another new cart as tomorrow I will be receiving the new 900 mah batteries so I can try them on . Then if it taste same I will mix a new batch with more flavour and try it.

Whose flavouring was it Melita, as 4% is quite low.
