Hi, I have been reading for a couple of days and have bought this to try. I have a few questions about accessories though. I like the liquid reservoir that came with it as it can be disassembled - which I assume makes for easier cleaning between flavours ( I'm trying coffee and banana at the moment after discovering I didn't like the caramel much I initially bought ). I bought another tank for the second flavour but it can't be disassembled at all - how do I find another one that can for the best price? I'm also fairly paranoid about battery life so was thinking of getting a second one. Should I get one of the variable voltage ones and, if so what strength and how much do they cost? Would my best solution be to simply buy another blisterpack or would I regret not buying something different? I also wanted some advice on nicotine strengths and flavours as I seem to smoke a lot more of the coffee ( which is 26 nic strength ) while getting less of a "hit" than with the banana which is only 11? Is this normal? I was thinking of trying the black cherry flavour but am unsure which strength to get - I used to smoke about 10 marlboro reds a day if that helps. Any advice? del

satanswombat - hi and welcome to the forum! Clearos first - the rebuildable one you have certainly is an improvement on the disposable one, in as much as you can replace the coil (about £3) saving you the price of a complete new unit. They can be picked up quite cheaply on various vendors' sites, but to be honest, you could do better with something like a Mini Protank. A word of warning - banana flavours are know tank-crackers. The polycarbonate tanks don't like the juice, and can (and will) crack - another good reason for going for the Mini Proptanks as their tanks are glass, and will repel anything! Batteries - a Variable Voltage (VV) battery like a Spinner or Twist will cost you more, but you will get a much more satisfying vape from them. Alternatively you could buy another couple of eGo batteries to act as backups or spares while one is on charge. The higher the mah rating the more charge they will hold and thus a longer usage period between charges. My 1300 mah Spinner lasts well over a day. Different juices can taste noticeably different in terms of Throat Hit (TH) and vapour. If you were on about 10 stinkies per day, an 18mg juice would probably be about right to begin with - you can always reduce the strength in time. Have a look through this excellent list of online vendors allaboute-cigarettes.proboards.com/thread/2/cigarette-liquid-vendors-discount-codes?page=1&scrollTo=2 - I'm sure you will find someone who can supply you. For juices, try www.joosejuice.co.uk and for vaping supplies, someone like Vape Escape or Myepack could be worth a look.

satanswombatRight first things first.. Welcome to AAEC now "I like the liquid reservoir that came with it as it can be disassembled - which I assume makes for easier cleaning between flavours" this is called the clearomiser and yes to allow cleaning, replacing the Head ( the bit that vaporises the juice and gives the vapor to inhale) A VV battery could be a Spinner or Ego Twist to start you off, however the cheapest option would be to just buy another of the kits you already have. There will be plenty of time later to explore the different options..just get used to basic vaping first, as many a newcomer has jumped in at the deep end, spent a fortune only to discover they didn't need go so advanced.. We will all be here to advise you as you need it. just enjoy the learning curve.

Chrissie Not really, just got back in from an evening of Live comedy as part of the Comedy Festival in Liverpool. Checking my mail, thought to have a nose to see who was about and felt honour bound to help out a newcomer...seeing what a kind, good, helpfulland modest chap I am.

Hi all, Will the black cherry cause cracking as well do you think? I'm having a look for the tanks and vv batteries now in some of the shops - the joocyjuice one just shows an 18+ warning though with no way through it I can see? I am leaning to buying a second blister pack by the time I add up the prices though. It seems ok for getting a second battery but if I'm going to be cracking clearomisers then it may be a false economy. ???

Black cherry should be ok. I've vaped that one in a plastic clearo and no cracking or fogging (where tank turns milky) I used to smoke equivalent of 20 cigs a day and started on 24 mg but soon dropped to 18 mg average

Ok, Last set of questions for tonight I promise. What kind/ size of glass tanked clearomisers fit the 510 connector on the battery I have? The one I liked is apparently called a ce4+ rebuild-able and the cheapest I can find those is £2.60 + £2.99 p&p. So the blister pack will get me one of those and a spare 900mah battery for £7.50. Is there a list anywhere of what juices crack tanks? This seems a very friendly place by the way - quite rare in forums. del

Welcome to the forum satanswombatAsk as many questions as you like - we like to help. Pretty much anything will fit on the battery you have, but the ones that take about 3ml will look a bit top-heavy, the ones that are around 1.6 ml will look neater. Yes, I'd get another blister pack. You have to have a spare battery. The second charger is nice as well. You might get a VV (variable voltage) battery later, but I'd concentrate on finding juices you like first. Google is your friend for this sort of problem - start the search with 'e cig' e.g. 'e cig tank crack'. There's lots of lists about. Ours is at allaboute-cigarettes.proboards.com/thread/13481/eliquids-flavourings-cause-issues-tanks?page=1&scrollTo=268809I don't know why this forum is friendlier than the others - maybe because it is mostly run by women. But we are indeed surprisingly nice people, to meet as well as on-line. Groups of us get together in vape-friendly pubs in various parts of the country. Gives you a chance to try different juices, see different gear. The forum search function is handy for this - search for 'meet', display results as threads, and see if there's a group near you.
