Hi all, just popped in to say hi and give a brief intro. I've been a smoker for 26 years and needed to quit but after several (willpower) attempts, but never could. I get really frustrated and almost angry if I couldn't have a smoke! I smoke(d) 8-12 roll-ups a day although not loads it's still enough to need/want to quit. Thought i would go down the e-cig route and decided to order this to see how I would get on: Vapouriz PRO Hard Pack Starter Kit as i've heard the one's you buy at petrol staions etc are rubbish. Turned out to be useless for me, and I actually needed a roll-up after vaping it, it had some effect but it didnt last long and I thought I bought a dud pack! So, I looked a little more into things and bought this: JACVapour Basic Starter V3i Tank KitThis works for me (18mg is my strength) and I am still using it now, at home and at work, but I am charging the batteries a few times a day and am refilling the tanks 3-4 times a day. I havn't smoked any nasties now for 8 days because of this little kit (so much happier, sleeping better and i can smell again!!) and although I love it, I would like a better kit. I've now come across this brilliant forum and wondered why I havn't found it before (how many times do you hear that?! LOL). I've found Joose Juice thanks to reading other posts and have ordered some samples, brilliant site! So after searching around a bit more, today I have now ordered this: Innokin iTaste Cool Fire I Advanced Kit for home. I think it looks amazing! I will soon need a better kit for work, and for when i'm out and about, something not too big but with a bigger tank and longer lasting battery. I like the black and stainless steel design. Not tried manual batteries yet as the JACVapour kit is auto but i'll soon find out with the Cool Fire! I've started looking but will have to wait a few weeks yet to buy a new kit. Soo much to choose from!! Any suggestions? Thanks for taking the time to read,Kind regards, Mike (cHooBeyDoo)

Welcome to our happy little group cHooBeyDooOut of interest, please be aware that coolfire 1 you linked is only capable of taking a 18350 batt. most folks get about 3/4 hours out of them. have a looksee here, same mod but with a much better clearo and an extension tube to allow you to use a 18650 (capable of a lot longer running) Batteries/ chargers can be found that exceed your linked performance. myepack.co.uk/specials/innokin-cool-fire-1.htmlHope this helps.

Thanks for the info, and all the welcomes guys. My understanding of the description on the website is it's provided with: 2 x Efest 18650 IMR Battery, which is why i bought the kit. Maybe I should of waited and asked here first. Guess i'll find out when it comes.

cHooBeyDoo - hi and a warm welcome from me too! You've already had some good suggestions above, and what a shame about your false start - we hear this only too often, someone tries the supermarket/petrol station cig-a-likes and they just don't cut the mustard. At least you have the Jac kit which seems to be doing the job, but there are loads of better batteries and 'mods' (essentially a battery holder that you put a tank of your choice on top of) which will give you so much more power and choice. I started with a Vamo and still use it when out and about, it does seem a bit like a light sabre when you first use it but you quickly get used to that! With an 18650 battery (18mm diameter, 65mm long, 0 = round shape) the Vamo will last me easily a day and a half between charges. They will cost you about £40 here in the UK, but bear in mind that you will also need batteries and a good charger. We can help point you in the right direction for both items if you need it. Please ask away, no question is considered too stupid here - this vaping business is a nightmare to get your head around, and we've all been there so know the pitfalls and also the best online vendors to suggest, complete with forum discount codes

Saddly it looks ro be a Typo this unit shown is only capable of taking 18350 cells and the ones shown in the image are Efest 18350 800mah cells. Might be worth sending an email and see just what they are willing to do to say sorry for the error.

Hi again, well, my Cool Fire 1 came, I put it all together and fired it all up but for some reason it didnt work properly, although the button lit up as it should it wouldn't produce any vapour, albeit a tiny bit every now and then, but regretfully I had to send it back for a refund It's a nice bit of kit though, looks great, feels nice and weighty in the hand and is a nice size so I may even get another one soon for sure. I've now bought the mini Protank 2 kit from Myepack for my out and about and for work, I also bought an extra 1100 MaH (dragon etched) battery from my newly discovered local vape shop and so far I am liking it. The mini Protank 2 seems like a well made, nice piece of kit. One thing i've noticed is, I don't know if it's just me, but i've found it eats through the ejuice like no ones business and the drip tip feels too cold on my lips, lol! I may even look into making my own coils at some point too, found some great videos on YouTube. If I start maikng my own coils is a ohm meter the way to go for testing them until I (eventually) get a VV/VW mod?

Hi cHooBeyDoo I see you are in Hampshire, if you're any where near Vapormax in Poole I'd get yourself down there. They have a real good selection of gear and it's home to Triphammer liquids which are highly thought of. Take your gear and you can try their juices.

I live in Andover, a bit further away unfortunately. My local shop Go-Vapour stocks T-Juice (amongst others) which they let you sample, great bunch of guys and I just bought some Colonel Custard (MMMMM, I have a sweet tooth) and have been mixing it with some strawberry chew flavour from the Jacvapour sample pack I got with my first kit and I can't put it down. I have some Joose Juice samples steeping atm and I also just bought today some SteamGunk samples to try. Triphammer will be my next port of call, there flavours are right up my street!
