10 ml concentrate

Just bought a few concentrates and having to use 10 ml in a mix,now!nearly a third of them didn't contain 10 ml some from the chef and jjs only contained just over 9 this has to be wrong or my syringe is wrong anyone else have same trouble?

Have you contacted either of them masteedman?

I'd imagine most Vendors fill their bottles of flavouring by a machine of some sort, the calibration could be wrong. This happened to me on one occasion and was swiftly remedied by the Vendor.

It's also worth bearing in mind, that although a bottle might be ' 10ml ' it will probably hold more in reality.

Strange, I usually notice conc bottles overfull, and had some off jj that where over for sure.

I think a lot of the bottles that look like 10 ml ones seem to hold about 12 ml. I got some 10 ml needle nose bottles for FT the other day and made up some mixes at 10 ml and they were a fair bit shy of filling the bottle. Pretty sure I didn't make any mistakes with my measurements but i guess it's possible or my syringes aren't accurate. I also got 10 mls of custard concentrate from LT ecigs once and the bottle was not full, I think this was a case of the bottle actually holding more though.

i had this from Lf when i 1st started diy....got a few 5ml f'arts and the levels were all different(some being half full others to the top and inbetween)
when i contacted them they said it was because they weigh them out as its more a more precise way to measure them

when i thought about it ,it seemed strange as ml is a measure of volume....and different flavouring ingredients must have different weights.

true but you should still get what you pay for 
if they do that with 9 bottles they get the 10th one free(the vendor that is)

I agree decoy, if you went to a shop to get a 20 packet of fags and once you opened them it only had 19 in it...you would be a tad bummed...so why be any different over bottled concentrate? You have paid for an amount so should get that amount...I know its swings and roundabouts....sometimes you may get a little over....but having more than a few that are under makes a difference!

if you were only getting 90% of the petrol you paid for you wouldn't be to happy
spesh as we pay sooo much tax on it you allready put a tenner in to get two quids worth(think it works out at 400% tax in laymans terms)

it dusnt really make a diffrence cause they are all diffrent flavours, its not like one of the bottles had 5 or 6 or 7 ml missing, dont think you would make up the juice and go dam its so lacking in flavour cause of that 0.5 ml that missing haha
