I was just having a moment of contemplation whilst sucking on my micro coiled Aerotank, blowing out clouds of sweet tasting custard vapour , we all know that home built coils are the best especially if you've mastered a micro coil type build, so was just wondering if anyone knows how Stock coils are made ? are they factory machine produced ? or is there some poor workforce, forced to hit targets and therefore producing sub par coils ?
do people actually make stock coils or is a big fail machine ?
now ive typed this it seems like a stupid question but anyone know ?
I suppose it stands to reason that they would be mass produced on machinery, after all only have to pay "honorable wagepacket" to just one person. As for the variation, I wonder if "end of shift, Friday afternoon sheer tedium" could have an effect.
Who's the "we" in "we all know"? Many vapers happily use stock coils. The majority of the ones I used at the start were absolutely fine. I only make them now as it's quick and easier than sending for them.
There's room for everyone. My only concern is someone thinking about giving up cigs reading forums and thinking "it seems like too much faffing". There are many I never look at. The ones where if you don't put a hot coil down your throat and set light to your head you're wimping out. This forum is the best out there. I've learned a lot, but I enjoy a bit of a faff. Plus it was an interesting question. I've often wondered, on taking a stock coil apart, how they get them so blinking neat.

I'm with Buggritt off the shelf is fine, I only recoil protanks as they are so easy. I've only learnt to coil in case the British Govt. get funny and ban stuff I use, forewarned and forearmed I say!
p.s Love the link!!! its a modern assembly line --- cool!
