I can do it for you mate as im planning on changing them in my sharks when they give up. aww that's a lovely forum offer Do we form an orderly queue? .... I too was wondering about this... wonderful to know that there are forum members who would be willing to do a battery swap for a reasonable price that's put my mind at rest! I mean....£25 is a bit steep a charge by authorised dealers! a tenner, fair enough but to be charged a fifth of the cost of an expensive mod is a tad grim. I'm not sure how old my dna 30 is as its a classifieds buy and it had a wireless card -- which drove me mental so I've very carefully removed and also decided to not bother with the skin as there is already atty marks and scraping on the display rim so a few more gouges probably wont matter? I like the feel of it unwrapped and the rubber felt revolting! besides I can't see me wanting to spend out £25 for a new battery when it'll probably be cosmetically half wrecked by that time!!

Its only a five min job with a soldering iron. You can get the replacement battery from Hobby King, about a fiver. I already have two stashed away for when mine die. I have no problem with doing it for members if they get the battery and cover the postage.

that's great to know and kind of you to offer - I don't own a soldering iron! I'll look into what exactly the replacement Lipo is and make sure I have one in for eventualities. I can't see me bothering to rush out to get a dna 40 ever so I may have this one for years!
