Hello and about to start mixing my own.

Hello. I chose this forum because it seemed to be the most down to earth and others get a wee bit much into 'geeky' detail. I gave up smoking on March 3rd this year when I had a starter pack delivered. I haven't smoked since. I smoked for forty years. My only regret with vaping is that I didn't find it several years sooner. 

I think I have been lucky with my vape supplier for the costs and that has helped keep going. I still know for a fact that I enjoyed smoking although it made me ill. I have learned to enjoy vaping and the main thing is that it is not smoking. 

I am about to start mixing my own juice, because it saves money and will give me complete control of what I vape. I joined today because of this and being in my flat waiting in for a delivery of Nicotine base!

Hi johnnyrenfrew I relate to your tale entirely, I'm just so grateful that a (internet) friend suggested vaping to me.

Enjoy your mixing experience, it has totally changed my vaping habit, now my ejuice has the flavour that I want AND costs a fraction of readymade stuff, I now find myself dreaming up new recipes, and toch wood they've all turned out pretty good.

Also what recipes are you planning in trying.

Hello and Good for you for making the change and also for joining AAEC. You'll soon get the hang of mixing cos if I did anyone can, lots of help here and recipes if you want I just remember what I was told within limits its not a science its an art lol

Thanks for the kind replies.  Still waiting but the weather is so wet out there that there are worse days to stay in for the postie.  To answer the query. I have been vaping tobacco flavours but have also tried a few sweeties. The inawera concentrates that came yesterday are two tobacco, arabic and american blend along with an RY4 and a caramel. From experience of premixed, they will keep me going for a good bit.

Welcome from me too, Inawera flavours are pretty strong suggest you mix at about 5%, you can always add more concentrate if neccessary

Does your handle suggest you are in Renfrew?
If so, I am just doon the river from you in Rosneath.

I too am into mixing but only a few flavours. I prefer British Tobacco flavours and my usual one is Royal that I get in concentrate form from FlavourArt.

I am a mixing weirdo and quite happy on it. I vape at 2% concentrate (ask Perpetua for what normal people do LOL) and don't steep and don't make 'recipes'

I'm very happy with that
