Can anything come close to Red Astaire ?

So after a while trying to find a liquid I actually liked, stumbled upon RA and loved it although I didn't think I would, thought I would want a baccy flavor (if there is any with a decent taste would still consider, maybe with some other flavor mixed in)

anyway I've tried several since RA snake oil which I used to like does nothing for me now, tried colonel custard and nothing, tasted of ...just nothing really, enjoyed black n blue and Jacques lemon wasn't bad either, jack the ripple .... not bad bit meh, probably say black n blue the best of the ones tried

Now eventually due to how much this bugger costs I will have to try mixing my own I guess but in the meantime would like some suggestions on what others have found tasty to give a try, as everything else seems tasteless or horrible in some cases.

any advice much appreciated guys

I haven't found anything that tops RA either.

Although lairey shared her custardy love child recipe which is amazing after a 2 week steep.

Mixing is definitely the way to go with RA.

Recommended is 20% flavour but RA is so strong I have found I can get away with 15%.

This means I can make 200ml out of a single 30ml bottle bottle of concentrate.

Brings the cost down to about £13.50 for 200ml

Red Astaire is the top kiddy for me, tried many many others but nothing comes near for me.

Buy the conc and make your own is the best way to save money.

It's a doodle to mix to being a one shotter and the perfect way to ease yourself into DIY mixing.

Pure perfection crimson tide is very close in my opinion. Although I do up the flavour % a little when mixing my own.

They also do an apple one and a kiwi one too :cool:

Also Toonz by diamond mist is a new kid on the block after the RA crown.

It's nice, but not in RA's league IMO.

However I have friends who prefer it so maybe worth trying as it's cheap to buy the premixed from Vape Inc

Sounds like you have a similar vaping palate to me.....at the moment my favourite juices in order.

Have to get tasting again, Afrodizziac always seems to be out when I purchase so gave up chasing it.

Have to hunt it down

I have tried Qs DIY versions of jacques Le mon and black and blue and both good so guess I should try out the Tjuice originals now the concentrates are available

It's always out of stock at chefs when I order but t juice have it, two lots of postage for me though. yea the juice that got me of the fags (RA) im a bit bored with ATM.....

Didn't know the chefs were on here, great guys, my regulars for concentrates although RA was out of stock this weekend so had to go to Tjuice, should have picked up the Afro while I was there.

I quite like Red Astaire but for me there's something missing (and no I cant put my finger on it) I like the fruit and menthol but there's something else I'd like? if clueless to what!

But on saying that, I now know of 5 or 6 juices I really REALLY like but I cant vape them for 12 hours solid. For a while I was concerned that I didn't have an all day vape, I do have a selection of juice I enjoy and I just accept that rotating through 3 at a go is what works for me...

and the sneaking hope that a perfect juice is lurking somewhere out there...so I keep buying and trying and mixing and sampling (whilst hammering my set of chosen standards)
