Thanks for the tag gill2009 - I am currently sitting here virtually in tears after just having read through the Spanish draft. I just cannot believe it really is coming down to this. I will be stocking up on mods and atties like crazy before May 20th, but they can't stop me buying VG, flavourings, cotton & wire after 20th May. There's plenty of people I know in the UK can bring me over all that. I cannot comprehend that I and others in Spain would not be able to buy our gear online either nationally NOR internationally, that means no more buying from China or the UK - crazy. We will only be allowed to buy stuff in tobacco shops (wtf), pharmacies and dedicated specialised licensed vaping shops (as if there will be any of those with the ridiculous costs attached) As for forums, not sure about that one, depends how that is interpreted really I suppose. They might be able to close down the Spanish forums but hopefully I shall still be able to post on here, unless of course the government does what it did with the bingo sites, which is that we in Spain cannot even get onto a UK bingo site, they just come up with something like you cannot access this site due to regional restrictions of your country. So, if I disappear from the forum all of a sudden, you'll know I can't get access to AAEC anymore I am severely gutted

Just been reading up on one of the Spanish forums and some of the members there are talking about the vaping products going underground now, on the black market 'n all. They're saying things like you can get drugs and other stuff on the black market so now it will have to be a case of vape gear on the black market too. Some of them are also optimistic that we'll still be able to get gear from FT as they're only listed as electronic parts so unless customs open every single FT parcel they're not gonna know what's in the parcel. They are talking about the end and/or death of the current established vaping shops and the fact that their livelihoods will be gone. I've only got up to page 3 out of 10 at the moment, will read up more on their forum tomorrow

toots, I really feel for you and the Spanish vaping community. This really should act as a kick up the arse for us here in the UK too, this could be the way things may go for us too, we need to be on the front foot and start fighting before it's too late. Keep us posted on Spanish developments, and also the 'underground' reaction - this could prove to be crucial information for us too

I agree with iggy if they do try and restrict access to sites then use a VPN, mine costs me around £5 a month on a pay as you go contract and is worth every penny.

I think, but dont quote me it's a virtual private network, sure someone will correct me if wrong. The simple awnser is it disguises where in the world you are. MP

A virtual private network, I don't know much about them but think it's like a web address where your internet is routed through this usually overseas , so it looks to the who ever is trying to block your access that you are not from the UK
I could be wrong but that's my understanding, I wouldn't have a clue how to set one up either.

You can try out Cyberghost and indeed keep using it for free.

They are really simple to set up and use gill2009 you don't need any extra technical knowledge for just basic use browsing and shopping etc. usually you download and install a really small program which allows you to look as if you are using the internet from a different country, most have an automatic option so it will select which country and server depending on how busy they are so that you keep decent speeds, or you can actually choose a country and server. Many of the VPN's don't keep user logs so no one can track or link downloads or where you have been back to your computer.

We actually have a couple of Vendors who due to their home country's restrictions or internet speeds that use VPN's/Proxy Servers . . . . and it works fine for them. So take heart toots, you won't be free of us that easily.
